Hi Josh,

I wanted to know if there was a way to extract data from excel to amibroker........

I am creating a live feed from nseindia.com using excel and want to push some data into amibroker....

How do you get data from nse to excel?

Open file Backfil.csv in C:\RT folder and give snapshot.

Checked Backfill.CSV file, data in that file is correct.
I am using DDE to get tick data from excel and backfill is successful for bars which have no data in amibroker, but for bars which already have tick data its not updating volume or price data. Sometime during high volatility data is missed, so i am trying to correct tick data by backfilling. What issue can be there ?

Backfil gives 1 min data. It has different time-stamp than tick data. Both will be saved. Volume of tick data for 1 min will be combined with 1 min backfil data. You will see excess volume in that case. Check.

You can get it with Webquery. There are threads available in this forum for that. However, data is late.

Dear Sir

I am using RTNOW utility. I followed procedure given here: http://www.traderji.com/data-feeds/...mibroker-fcharts-qtstalker-11.html#post693333

First I downloaded RTNOW. I put Nest3.format and RTG3.fomat in C:\Program Files (x86)\AmiBroker\Formats
Second copied RTNOW.xlsm file and pasted in C:\ODIN\Diet (ODIN95 located here and Arbitrage file)
Third Database set is as C:\Program Files (x86)\AmiBroker\Data (default)

I opened nest trader and arrange columns as per your instructions. I opened arbitrage from the ODIN. I opened the excel and opened RTNOW.xlsm. But the prices are not changing.

There are three stages for getting RT feed in Ami from ODIN.
1. Getting RT feed in Arbitrage.xls from ODIN. It is working fine
2. Getting RT feed from Arbitrage.xls to RTNOW.xlsm Taking only last saved values. Data is not updated in real time ???
3. Getting RT feed from RTNOW.xlsm to Ami. It is working fine when I click on START RT DATA. It show last value.

My system time is like HH:mm:ss and date is as dd/mm/yyyy.

I also change amibroker database setting as number of bars 30000, tick and starting time.

I RT folder contains two text file MyCSVNOW.txt and MyCSVG.txt. But not able to find MyCSVNOW.csv or MyCSV.csv. I read somewhere in thread we need this file also but not able to find how we can make it if not present?

MyCSVG.txt is fine. You don't need the file. It is created by RTNOW.xlsm.
Link the cells in RTNOW to Arbitrage again and see if prices start changing. Check the formula in the cells in RTNOW. It should be as given in the thread.

To link cells type = in the cell, then select arbitrage in windows's taskbar, click on the desired cell and press Enter.

If it does not work, I shall help you on Teamviewer or Ammv

Need help to fetching Real time data from NOW to Excel, and Excel to AB

Since last couple of days, i try to configure settings as directed in video tutorial, but not able to fetch data from NOW software to RTG3.

I verify all the settings and go through guideline thrice, but not able to successed in RTD. Prices are not updating in excel sheet.

I did it Sir. Since I was opening new excel instance then open arbitrage file from within excel. Same repeated new instance for RTNOW.

ON monday I will open both file from one instance i.e going start menu and open excel: from here I will open both Arbitrage and RTNOW file. Lets hope it will work. Since formula changed from ='C:\ODIN\Diet\[Arbitrage.xls]Sheet1'!B6 to ='C:\ODIN\Diet\[Arbitrage.xls]Sheet1'!$B$6
