Prob 2 partial solved. Only 1 query in it! you mentioned - 1st time save the file as Snap1.xls and on consequent days u can open that file - no need to delete the old 1.

but when you open next time you do rite click & snap to excel - you get 2 options New Snap & Load Snap - which 1 to choose?

apart from this, when i type the mentioned command in cell A8 and press OK it give me this (attached file) - what to do? in short i am not able to get data in RTNOW file!

pls help!

1. RTG3/RT3/RT31 file is used instead of RTNOW. cn v use any file or RTNOW is the only one which we have 2 use?
2. u mentioned RTNOW.xlsm & RTNOW.xlm. which is this format? as my format is RTNOW.xls

after changing it to 1sec it hs stopped updating? i tried changing it to 3sec. but RTNOW is not getting updated!
nothing has changed - still hving problem!

Today i installed Amibroker 5.4. Earlier was using 5.2 and your backfill utility was working fine in it but now its not working, date format is correct and the excel shows that everything has been done but backfill is not done. What can be the issue ?

Sorry forgot to add format files, added them but now its connecting to amibroker and opening another instance of it, so i am getting 2 instances of amibroker running. What should i do ?
