does it make sense to go long in Nifty with closing levels sooo high above 15ema? Somebody pls reply

Even during the last bearish crossover... closing level was higher... have a look at the chart...

I reversed my short to long.. at 5540.....

Also, in Adani power, Balrampur chini and Jindal Saw etc. crossover is there but at the same time the closing candle is NOT touching the 3 EMA line.

Hi,

If you are already long on these stocks, get out till the candle touch 3 ema again. Also, it makes sense to see where the 3 EMA is moving. If it is moving away from 15 EMA, then we can buy again when the 3 EMA is touched, else wait for the next indication. You might lose some profit on this, but it is better to be safe than sorry!

This implies that if I am NOTalready long on these stocks, I shouldnot enter till 3 EMA touches 15 EMA again. Correct?

As you rightly said, it is better to get a lesser profit than being on wrong side of trade.

Sanjeev,

I think he meant the price candle touching 3 EMA for entry, not 3 EMA touching 15 EMA. Please read the beginning of the thread, the method is described in detail by SH.
