SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

Hi Every one. I just went through all the 231 pages in thread and i found the thread very encouraging. I thank SH for sharing such a beautiful book with us, Yes i am talking about "trading for living". Well i personally was trading as per JOE Ross strategies. I liked the strategy 3-15 and i would like to mix joe ross trading in zone strategy with 3-15 to get improved results. I will try to share his thoughts about trading range and how to identify the ranges. If any one has patience he may read TRADING BY BOOK by Joe Ross.

I have gone through the whole thread and i have tried to summerize the whole thread. I have made a pdf file containing the basics and FAQs by people to SH sir. below is the link.

I request SH ji to include it in ur first post as it will clear doubts of any new comer to this thread. I have seen that after 100 pages (approx) most queries are repeated as people do not have patience to go through all the pages in the thread.

@tmnkin: Hi tmnkin how ur software is working buddy. Well i also work with my own software. I have written it in php-mysql. On which platform u r working buddy. Can u tell me how are u fetching quotes from nse website. I m fetching data from my PIB.

For every one else:
I know for a beginner to pay 700 Rs to icharts or investbulls hurts a lot. I will provide u the alternate to excel sheets. U will have to manually update the data like u will be doing in excel rest of the things it will do at its own.
For full version (FREE OF ANY COST OFCOURSE) that fetch data from Power india bulls software (for real time) and NSE (for EOD) please downlod XAMPP and pm me.

Really appreciate your effort. I have just now joined this forum and had lot of confusion initially although Sh and all the other members have been very supportive. Kudos.

Hi,
Yesterday evening, i took my first NF trade based on this strategy. I went long in MiniNifty at 5546. Today because of the gapup and because the EOD candle was not touching 3 EMA, I squared off my position at 5581. At the time 3 EMA was at about 5522.
Let me know if my decisions have been correct. Also, with the 200 MA looming upon Nifty at around 5600, will there be any change in strategy or should I be looking to re-enter at 3 EMA touch as per original rules?

I think 315 is a strategy for trending instruments (it can be stock, currency or comodity or anything else)

The only condtion it should be volatile and trending. Try to backtest urself as spoon feeding is not good for any one.

Hi - thanks for your efforts.....I like your commitment and patience ...thats the first requirement to be a succesful trader.

Can you please upload an editable MS word document. I will review (and make amends if required) before posting it in the first post.
