Finally, I made up mind to put in pratice this well laid strategy. I decided to do a small trade first. Bought Idea Cellular 1000 @ 52.05 (cash) on 01/12/09. Today at 54.xx the candle is away from 3ema. Now it is the limitation of trading in cash, I cant sell because the delivery has not come into my account yet.
SH, hope my trade and observations were right.

RCOM has made a long crossover today, ofcourse we would have to wait till EOD. Would it be good to enter if the xover holds?

Yes enter on each signal ....

Buy the way, you can always sell your idea cellular even if they have not hit your demat account yet... nothing can stop you from doing that.. I do that often in cash and i trade through indiainfoline.

the 3 EMA was hanging around 5120 this morning .. so i have bought on dip now at 5120.

Great thread and wonderful strategy. I would like to try it. A couple of questions.

1. You use Indiainfoline and take delivery, but can sell when you want before hitting dmat account? What rate are you getting for brokerage please?
2. BHARTI, IDEA seemed to cross yesterday, you will buy day of crossover using RT EOD data, and wait til 3.25pm to confirm crossover? Actually Bharti crossed and is above and not touching 3ema, buy & sell signal together
3. RCOM, 3IINFOTECH look like a possible crossover, you will go long today at 3.25pm if crossover is confirmed?

Actually, I see that icharts didn't update for 2nd Dec, so yesterday means the day before, 1st Dec.

Class - yes I can buy today and sell tomorrow without any issues. Since I am a business partner with Indiainfoline, I decide brokerage for myself and for my clients :thumb:

RCOM and 3iInfotechjust checked the charts.. dont see a clear crossover so i will wait until tomorrow before going long if I was you.

I am using ICICIDIRECT for time being. Is there a way to sell before it shows in my icicidirect trading account? I know I am OT.

ICICI Direct .. i used it in 2005 and never liked their web based trading platform. Plus their brokerage sucks away all the profits. And its usually down on volatile days so as a trader you are left hanging when you want to book profits on a huge gap up etc ..

finally i decided to move to Sharekhan. Later i moved to Indiainfoline.

Sorry cant help much on ICICI direct except suggesting you that you move to some other brokerage house which provides a better trading platform.

Just my view....why buy at 2.52!! better to wait till 3.25 or 3.28 and enter , maybe at higher rates but according to me this would be more closer to the 'rules'!!!
The market could very well have breached a few more lower levels and given a sell!!

Please clarify what makes you buy at this level, because of 3 EMA is touching the candle? But, in today EOD the EMA 3 is still not touching the body of the candle. So, can expect some more points down tomorrow before moving up. am I right?
