Went through the entire thread (almost) Did not find figure or Excel sheet or simple mention of the Profit by anyone analysing just the crossovers of 3 and 15 EMA's, i.e. without 3EMA not touching exits and adds at 15 ema!!
So I tried to analyse it Bar by bar and am surprised at the results!!
This result shows why so many people seek clarification for such a simple Strategy i.e.: Buy when 3 ema cross 15 ema and goes above and reverse to Sell when 3 EMA cross 15 EMA and goes below!!!
As mentioned by SH and N number of times by rkkarnani and a few others, the strength of the strategy lies in the Exits at 3EMA not touching and Add at 15 EMA touch and also Money Management...
So the members who tried to Trade it by just Buying and Selling on Crossover were getting anhilated by the market and were clamouring for guidance time and again!!!
I also now understand why some people were skeptical about a EMA crossover strategy being Profitable!!!
Hopefully with New Rules of Exit the Strategy would be Comfortable and more Profitable!!
