SH's 315 Strategy - how to use if effectively

Hai SH.
I wanted to know that is there any free/low cost software that scans the stocks from BSE/NSE which gives buy/sell signal as per your 3/15 & 5/34 strategy.
I heard of ICHARTS but there we have to scan every scripts manually.
Plz. Help

Bhuransandip - I remember a software called chart alert which had the functionality to scan for any EMA crossover (the EMA values could be customised).

However I do not use it since I just stick to my list of 20 stocks.

A client of mine was interested in getting some scripts coded to play with...he is a non IT guy...I did not have time myself and IAC never learned Ami AFL coding....so I outsourced few scripts to a couple of guys....this is one of them.

I will be posting it in the thread in a week or so. I hope people will be willing to test it out and give comments for correction of any errors.

Mind you, I won't be able to help with any setup or errors of Amibroker or your Data software. Your Ami should be ready, getting data from upstream vendor in a week or so....

Once the script is posted, I will simply get any entry/exit signal errors rectified and repost it again.

I require 315's exact entrys & exits in NIFTY for the last 180 days, al least, to verify the code. Anyone keeping a trading diary? SH?

There is a website www.zignals.com , where you can set alerts for any EMA Crossover. We willl have to register, login and then set alerts. Alert messages will be intimated through e-mail or SMS. It is free. You will have to create a list of stocks that you need to check for crossovers. I am not sure whether you will be able to do it for all the stocks in BSE/NSE . Hope this helps

In Zignals.com website , after logging in , you can find an tab option called TOOLS on the top of the page . Click on that. That link will show various options under the TOOLS tab,one of which is Alerts. You can click on alerts , and then creae/view/edit the alerts , where there are options to choose for the kind of alerts that you want. There are a lot of HELP provided in each section, which tells what are the steps involved.

Yes shajans, this website does not give real time data. For price related alerts, it is 20 min delay. For Crossover's , it is only an EOD alert that is sent. I forgot to inform this in my previous message.

I was able to set alert as you have guided.
I trided with DLF which is latest signal.
I even tried to check with historical test in same section.
e.g sell signal was generated on 19th Oct at 369
It further gives data as max gain 1.3% max loss -7.6% & return as -1.9%
buy crossover happen yesterday on DLF at 364. This mean we have positive returns in this trade but above history was showing negative returns....
Am I missing something? OR doing something wrong?
Appreciate if you can advice on this point.

But dlf is gap down how did you generate profits on this trade today..?!
