Market is moving in very narrow gap of 6025 to 6037 since last 1.5hours.
very difficult to get intraday trade....

Yes .. lost 4 points each in two trades ..no more trading today.

markets are stuck between 6025-6040 since morning ....its almost impossible to get 20 point trade right now ... instead of fighting the market .. lets step aside and enjoy our swing trades :thumb:

Anyone using IIFL terminal:

I tried to pull up the 5 min intra day charts today around 11, and it didnt give me the 5ema lines from beginning, but only from after 5 bars. And today itself I saw SH sir saying that there was a trigger at abt 9.30
So is there a way in IIFL charts that we can see even last days charts on 5 min basis so that it will be helpful in plotting the emas right from 9.15?

Not possible both in IIFL terminal as well as PIB. This is the advantage of using Amibroker with a live feed. Alternatively Sharekhan Trader Tiger has this feature. :thumb:

I heard as such. That whole thing about 5 days backfill facility. Isnt it all the same?
Mostly grass is greener on the other side cum hearsay basis. Was gonna open a Sharekhan account thinking it had this. I thought your Bollinger Band charts positional charts showed this clearly?!

Hi alroyraj,

Even in Tradetiger 5 ema will appear after the close of 5th candle.
In the thread BOLLINGERANDS ,first I drew 12-month graph and then
took roughly 6~7 months last portion of it and saved it. So it gives an
impression that 10-ema and 20-sma lines are drawn from the beginning.

You can get all required chart for this strategy in Sharekhan Trade Tiger Terminal.

Here is image.

You must use 3 day / 5 day data [short cut key <ctr+I> press <3D/5D> press <5>] then add study with 5 EMAH and 5 EMAL ... thats all.
