I can understand your conundrum.

Is it possible to manually edit one of the javascript files to get what I'm looking for?
If so could you guide me to which one I should edit?

If this isn't possible.. How about I add nseindia.com and nse-india.com to the HOSTS file as local host and run the utility again. Will this method work?

Adding nseindia.com, www.nseindia.com to localhost should work.

Actually its nseindia.com only and not www.nseindia.com.

I had to run a http analyzer on the shubhdownloader process to check what exactly it was downloading.

Problem sorted, it takes a little while longer. Since it's a one time exercise once I get the CSV's will uncomment the hosts file once the databases are built.

This is in ascii format, can be imported in MS. One can use Amibroker import ascii wizard, map fields and use data. If you use Shubha Downloader with this data, you need to merge this data with Shubha downloader std.csv/ Amibroker (coming next week) data. The symbols are randomly generated numbers, company names are perfect. One need to match company name and merge data. The data merge activity will take some time for you.

Dear Sir
Link is not working pls help
Respected sir first of all appreciating for such a gr8 effort. Almost near to complete package. About few things I like to draw attention-
1) Download MCX.txt data successfully upto 16 Feb,2013 but when downloading from your software after that date then difference in bhav copy format and also series is of march and that time on 16th feb series is continued.
So how to solve this problem.
2)As Nse cash is default but is it not possible to reduce updating time of bhavcopy of mcx or other segment which ever required updated on demand that time like other available products. So that things become more user friendly.
Remaining facilities provided are very good and exceptional if only downloading problem of bhav copy solved.:):thumb:
