Hi Amit
Any comments on Vimta Labs for long term ? Thanks Narayan
Hi Narayan...Vimta Labs, another low liquidity counter is likely to be a decent hold in the long term.
For now it has strong support in the 705-720 area where it's bouncing off.
To the up, there is likely to be an extended resistance in the 800-850 zone unless this is taken out in a few strong moves.
Possibly a sideways consolidation is on the cards in the 770-820 band, looking at the data, and this is important for it to do in order to take out the 920-990 area where it reacted sharply in recent times. Past this it should have a good run.
A good one in the long run, very likely, and I'd encourage you to have a good look at the fundamental story here before taking position. This is a vital study for investors.
Regards.

Amit ,
You are carrying the whole weight of this website. I think I am last to notice this and dont have more words other than those already used by all your fans here. Please add my wishes with them. Congratulations Regards
Hey Sharestar...I don't know about carrying the weight of the forum at all...There are some great people here who make it a wonderful place of wit, wisdom, art, philosophy...and a lot of learning, a lot of it.
Thanks very much for your warm remarks...most graciously accepted.
Look forward to seeing you more often. :)
Cheers.

Hi Joshi...I have a post on ITC from yesterday, you may want to have a look.
Allahabad Bank is playing out a prolonged corrective phase where over and over again it reacts sharply at 99-100 and falls off. However, the volume and the sentiment remain positive and it needs to clear 93-94 for an upside to 99 again. A move there may come at some time soon, and at any evidence of another bout of selling there, I would suggest exit. Should it sustain over 100, that would be a time to increase exposure in it.
BongaiRef I would take my money out of at the earliest. The long term corrective phase is no where over and there's no sign of a recovery.
GLFL unfortunately is bunched together with the penny counters most of whom are taking a beating. It's trading a little above an important support of 15.75. Looking at your entry, this is deep enough under the circumstances. Below this, 14 off is another support if you want to wait and watch. If your holding is not a lot, I would suggest take a loss should the weakness persist, go cash on BonganRef and GLFL, and look for a better counter. There would be quite a few once we see a clear picture emerging in the market.
I have taken the liberty to suggest pulling out of a potentially losing trade, but this is exactly what I would have done.
All the best.
Hi Amit,
Thanks a lot for your kind reply with valuable suggestions.
I will exit from GLFL and BonganRef as soon as possible..

One more question I forgot to ask yesterday... What about Deepak Fert..I read in Business Today that its a good stock..

Please advice me on this also..
Thanks

Thanks so much for the detailed info. I got into Tata Motors at 498.50. I personally felt that the reistance at 524 and 528 if broken will see it climb to 537. But after this it would be a southward movement again right to 524. Pl correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks

Hi bmcg...thanks for those kind words..
You haven't said if you are already in or planning on going in.
If in, then Tata Motors at 499 off is a little below some difficult levels which it has attempted several times over several months. The journey up from here all the way to 550 plus would be dense looking at the past patterns. Perhaps some news or stellar results may help it clear the congestion ahead, and so from a trading point of view I would not encourage an entry just yet. An investment could be considered, but with a long term horizon only.
Tata Tea...a great counter, but then it has been in a steep climb for a few monts since 580 levels. It may still have more than some steam left at 850 close tonight, but coming in at a deeper pull back would be nice. I'm not sure if we wold see a significant pull back though and it's above some good supports here. However, should it drop to 825 off levels, taking an entry at 835 on the up could work. Or else, get in at any dip but with a strict s/l at 825.
For investment, this one is good...has a long way to go yet.
Regards.

Hi Bmcg...I had written this last night:
"What can be seen from past patterns is, the higher it reaches, more sharp the volatility gets."
It is difficult to say if it will retrace each time. There will come a time when all the resistances in the way will go, but when and how, one is not clear.
Thanks.

Hi hemanta_baishya and dinkerj..best would be to check with the broker or your agent...will certainly look into this, but later.
Thanks.

A fairly decent disciplined trade for a disciplined player would be Bata, with a strict s/l at 146. CMP 153 off...can a be taken at any decline for 165 sometime soon.
I'm jumping the gun here, I know.
Even so, I like it. Keep strict s/l as suggested and trail stop.
Caution is still the word...we are in some volatile zone on the index.

Sorry Joshi...over looked this.
Yes, Deepak is a great counter, and has support at 89-91-92-93.
CMP 94 off, resistance at 97 then 99. Would be reasonable to expect 103-105, the recent highs as the first target.
Be cautious.
Cheers.
