Hi Suja Rouf...first drop the ji if you will...we are equals here.
There appears no need for exiting Sunflag. It is making a nice curve, droping off from 22 clocked in March to 12 in June, and up again at the current 18. The uptrend is intact still, and the drop could have been partly on account of the long run-up, and it needs to retract a little, consolidate and attempt the resistance at 19 off levels. The sharp drop in volume that accomanied the 35 paise drop is another reason why I see the trend being intact still. Looking at your entry, 16.50 may be taken as s/l. Has strong support at 17 off.
Regards.
Hi Amit
Thanks for your analysis and I know what to do now with Sunflag.

Hi Amit, Any suggestions on stocks in Power sector, like Universal cables and KEI ? Do these seem to have a good future in India, since the demand of cables will increase? Regards
Hi tradebull...Universal Cables looks good to me. On the weekly charts has made steady progress at higher peaks. Early last month having gone into over bought territory at 138 it made a nice retraction to 131, then made a classic inverted h&s, and headed up to 141. Has dropped a tad on Friday to 139.60 and still not too far into over bought zone. It's surely going to make steady progress without steep outbursts, as this is not in the nature of its charts. It's a typically not a liquid scrip, and for that reason, the concern is, there was a sharp increase in volume on Friday where it lost slightly. Possibly more traders taking position? Perhaps, but then on Friday despite the indexes gaining gorund, the wider market breadth was quite poor, and a lot of strongly trending scrips dipped, some more than others. Keep watch however, and this is a turnaround story too, coming into the green from red in both the annual and last quarterly performance.
I'm afraid wasn't able to get KEI. Do get back with the full name and the BSE NSE code or symbol.
Regards.

Comforting to c that this is a typical psychological curve. Challenge is how fast shall one graduate from one level to the other. Am sure this forum and the senior members are a real blessing to the juniors to go thru the "tunnel"..
Thanks Amit for reminding us the great post..Nagzu
Hey Nagzu...thanks buddy, but tell you what...I'm still struggling too, especially with the last two points in the final stage! ;)
Good luck in the journey...to us all.

Rico Auto has given a good breakout with huge volumes.. Sharekhan has released an equity report late yesterday..
Amit, can u please set the S/Ls and targets.. btw, i have started reading TA. Soon will come out with my own estimates :) Nagzu
Fantastic, Nagzu...great going. Keep up the study and especially develop a feel for trend changes looking at volume in buy/sell action.
About Rico, It's gone up sharply, and you want to watch close for a dip to get in. Looks to me like it's going further, though. 92-95 is strong support of two years ago, and should it retract, it'd be great to get on going up from these levels. If you'd like to go in now, 115 is resistance and again some retraction coluld come here. The next mark to cross is 124 and past this some stiff resistance at 138 and 155. These levels are for your referaece so make a note if you like. By and by it'll get there. Keep a watch on volume, as ultimately it's this alone that will take out sticky levels. Do keep me posted on the progress.
Regards.

Hi nilotpalbcet...coming back to this again...IFCI has stayed its ground today. It's possible some news may be on its way some time soon. Hold on to it...should take some profits soon.
With Century, today's high at 118 is what it needs to cross to get back the momentum. It was doing well till the news of the Birla settlement stumped its progress where it shot up intrady to 377 and fell there after. After a retacement it should be coming back in, but how long to your entry is difficult to say. You may want to just leave it in your portfolio and over the next couple of monts you may be looking at gains on it. I'm holding it too, but from much lower levels.
Regarrds.
Thanks for your kind words Amit. I was thinking the same way as u said it.
Thanks a lot again.

Hi Amit,

Thank you very much for your reply on Univeral Cables. If you can please explain "not a liquid script" and its impact on investment, I will be thankful to you (I am new to this domain and am in the process of learning).

KEI is KEI Industries, and the symbol as appears on Equitymaster is (KEIN), not sure if these are symbols on BSE or NSE.
