BTW, watch for some more huge volatile moves in the Indian markets. I'm aware there was a holiday on Monday. One thing that is common with all markets, and that is they don't really rest. This can be noticeable in the strong spikes you get on Mondays. It is simply making up for 2 days off. All the markets, except the Indian markets were open on Monday. Now the Indian markets really have some lost time to make up for.

Re: Reliant

Ashwani, thank-you! That once again shows my unfamiliarity with Indian markets. One my platform is says, "Rel Ind", so I thought it was Reliant.

Google for his username and go to his blog and you will find his true origins. He is one guy who does not care about fundamentals and can give his analysis by just looking at the charts. That's why the confusion on reliance / reliant. Similarly if he does not know that reliance is part of nifty or if nift is part of reliance (I think he knows by now), don't be surprised. you will get forecasts either way.

Re: Reliant

Ashwani, I have never been in India. I was born in America, but lived 2 1/2 years of my childhood in the UK. OTT, I've always lived in America.

I am in this forum, because I like it here, the people, and the value system. I just feel good about this forum. I follow the Indian markets, because that is what people want in this forum.

PRST, I would agree with you if it is wanting to avoid huge volatile swings. OTOH, a look at the daily on Nifty shows all the gaps in the downtrend, which is points that would have been missed in that downtrend.

Personally. I've mentioned this before, but I use my charts as a road map to guide me to a final destination. This may be a daytrade, or positional type of trade, but if a point is on my radar, I stay in the trade until it is hit.

In essence, I am saying both of our perspectives are right based on how we trade and all other methodological factors.

Re: Reliant

SJD, I got a chuckle out of your post based on previous conversations.

Ashwani, we are all friends here. I'm sure the motive behind SJD was to direct you to my blog in order to clear up my background.

LOL, anyone that has read this thread to any degree probably knows I don't give a hoot about FA's
