Hi Goofy,
One of my friend's account which I was Trading a few years back....to repair his ledger.... Guess what I sold his RELIANCE @ 3082 average price... and he was aghast to discover....& needless to say very upset with me then.... but he has realised his folly....& is more amenable now...
I have a simple thought process .... people who fall in love and get attached to their holdings..... I just have one thing to say.... does the scrip sympathise with the investor while going down.... In hindi "Mujhe Neeche Nahin Jaana Chahiye Goofy Aur Murtaza Bhai Ko Kitna Pyar Hai Mujh se..... "

Thank God, the connection is restored!
No, Mr. SG, I am not that sentimental fool. I am not holding RELINACE for any sentimental reasons - why, I just sold more that half of them a few days ago. It is purely business. Because of this Hero honda thing that seems bent on screwing me, I am holding it. My saying 'tempted' just meant that. Now thanks to your assurance, it will also be out of the way soon.
Let me tell something to my other brothers here on this thread - sort of a story:
My late maternal Grandfather adviced me the day I started my first business:
Remember, keep the greed in check and do the business in cash. Two years later when I wound up the business, I didn't owe anybody, nobody owed me anything. A week later, I was in Germany.
My dad didn't heed this gem, and he took to bed when the NIIT fell through the roof years ago. My brother, my cousins forgot the oldman's advice, and they lost millions of rupees in 2008 crash.
That's what I meant when I told you yesterday that I was clearing the decks. I don't want to owe or be owed a single dime when the market closes. After that, I just want to enjoy my whisky, music and talking with my near and dears, and to the brothers at Traderji.
Thanks
