Hi Option Fan,

Nothing wrong with your analysis or most of your position except SUZ & 6400 CE.....

Problem....is that you froze when the markets started the downslide.... almost bewitched, entranced... by the move....

You could have done lots of things... if you weren't frozen...

I wrote something in your thread yesterday... to PGDIMES ... read it again.... at the end of it all...... I was sitting Long & Short on many of the positions....which I had a ball trading today...

and what happened in actual trading....??

1. booked initial short position ( puts ) with say just 10-15 % minor gains.. on 1st immidiate trading day.
2. SBI fallen 200 rs and I went long ( calls) booked fantastic loss as it extended fall to 400 rs !!.
3. went long in 6400 CEs and booked with 50% loss.
4. finally what is result..? holding 6200/SBIN 3200/SUZLON 60/RELIANCE 1100 Calls ( all in loss @ cmp).... all my NOV earnings ( trading profit) is at stake.... confidence level abt own analysis skills DAMAGED big way !!

grrrrrr.... still cannot find where I went WRONG??
can anyone help???

Yes, it remained on a steady course despite the sudden tumble. Buy-Sell ratio was almost 1:1. Fingers crossed...

By the way, I was just trying to shore-up with Mr. Option Man. The last thing a man, who's feeling down, needs is a lecture - which, I knew, would be coming his way aplenty.
No, I am not that down. My connection froze-up this afternoon. When it came back, HANUNG was singing the last of the 'Jack and Jill, went down the hill!'
Had to take the bloody delivery!
But HH hold is still a GO, no worries then.

HANUNG (Don't miss the chinese phonetics).... anyways perhaps the only other company with good exports catering to EU & U.S..... any spat with chinese or chinese toy makers.... usually sees a big spurt in the counter.... Let's hope for your sake.... some importers.... find something objectionable with chinese soft toys....soon....

I had bought Dabur Future @ 103/- with target of 107/-.
Everything went wrong!!!

Tell you what, Mr. SG. It happened to me today. During the early hours of the market, momentarily I got transfixed by the continuous RED flicker of RPOWER. Thank God, I woke up, and saved my pocket getting seriously damaged.

I think, Mr. Alroyraj hit the nail when he wrote about minimizing the loss yesterday: It is the hardest thing!

If this gets mastered, then I shall consider myself trader. Before that it's just guesswork for me under the guise of trading.

I am clearing my decks, remember? I mean, I don't want to feel like Charlie Chaplin who as a jaintor, in one of his great movies, sweeps the office floor from right to left. Only thing the astonished office personnel see is, the rubbish moves from right to the left corner!
