Re: Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On - Chapter II

Hi Anant,

I have one query regarding sigleMA trigger system. Suppose, for a stock I got buy trigger and it is going up now if I want to increase my position then when to do that. For Eg: In SG system he gives trigger for same stock multiple times to add more position but I am not finding same thing in singleMA trigger system.

Also, what is the significance of trailing stop loss in your AFL. I noticed that many times trailing sl is hit but you exit only when sell triggered on the chart. So how should one use trailing sl.
Hi Dipesh,

Chaitanya has answered first part of your question. For second part regarding SL, can you point to the case where there was no exit when SL was hit.

Hi Siva,

There is Updater AFL for updating. See the first post in this thread for the link to that AFL.

Re: Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On - Chapter II

Hi Anant,

Thanks for the reply. Here I am talking about trailing stop loss and not the stop loss which occurs when we initiate trade. As the days goes on from the chart trailing stop loss keeps on increasing. In that process many times stock hits trailing stop loss on the chart. My query is how to interpret this trailing stop loss. I have observed that many times stock moves up but before reaching the target comes back and sell triggers on the chart and all the profit wash away. Just curious how can save this profit without missing the long rides.

As per adding more position can we enhance the afl such that it will tell us to add more position. I observed that there are no more triggers yesterday and for today because probably many stocks are already in trigger list. But I am sure there can be lots of stocks which are already in trigger list and can be added more to portfolio from the charts

Why I am asking this because there are lots of small investors like me which can not invest in all the triggers and therefore the above two things if get resolved will benefit us.

Also, I understand that I am asking too much and some efforts should be put by me also for my trades. But if some guide line can be set on the charts then it will be really wonderful.

I am sorry Anant if I am too much selfish here and asking a lot.

There is another AFL which gives gives the Buy/Sell Triggers along with Target and Stop Loss levels. The link for the AFL is also there in the first post of this thread. The AFL is "Single MA AFL"

Dipesh,

There Are 6 Banks In Anant's SELL Triggers....What Do You Think It Indicates...RBI Is Bound To Do Some Tinkering Later On This Month...Banks Are Basically The Culprits That Have Kept Nifty Rangebound....In My Opinion Pickup Banks After RBI's Tinkering...Because Any Kneejerk Reaction Will Be Very Short Lived...Otherwise...Everything Seems Fine For Now.

Hi Anant/SG/Seniors,

So many sell triggers and very less buy triggers. Are we heading towards correction?

NIFTY was showing a small downward movement for the last 5-6 days but has moved up a bit today. A little weakness is still there but hopefully it will overcome it in next couple of sessions (close above 5270). If it does not happen then .....
