@SG

I had earlier asked you about CAIRN. I have a [email protected] which is currently trading at 0.4.

Upon viewing the chart .. I see bullishness on the daily wherein the stock can easily go to 338-340 levels 2morrow itself considering the Caol India listing frenzy :D and to 355 too is possible as it has made a falling wedge and 340 is a breakout from the wedge.

If it is resisted there and comes back to 336/335 or so, can I buy a 320PA there with SL 342 on closing basis.

Viks,

How do you manage to pick such scrips.....is beyond me...

On Diwali Muhurat session exit....if you are in profit

If you have to why not BUY something fundamentally nice to loose your money....:)

Savant ji,
What are your views on Powersoft global(cmp @27). I bought it at Rs.22 in IPO. Now after ages it is in green, should I exit or stay in this counter.

Thanks

In my opinion.....jot it down in your shopping list....and wait for biggish correction to buy.....there is no point trying to buy now...because FIIs & DIIs are going to be falling over themselves to mop up whatever they couldn't get through IPO......

Reasons for them to mop up are as follows:

1) COALINDIA - Nifty 50 component as a result they would be required to re-balance their portfolio

2) Inclusion in Derivatives segment creates its own Fatal Attraction

I guess above reasons will suffice for now.

If you do see the price anywhere below 280 you may snap it up.

I got 199 shares in the Coal India IPO. I'm planning to buy more for long term ie around 1-2 years. Should I buy tomorrow or wait?

Dear Friends,
I have small utility in Excel sheet.
(1) NSE_BHAV
(2) NSE_PR_DAILY

NSE_BHAV: It will convert directly cm01NOV2010bhav.csv.zip into a *.txt file retaining columns Ticker, Date, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume for all equities.

NSE_PR_Daily: First download PR.zip from nseindia.com unrar it.find file Pd011110.csv , NSE_PR_DAILY will convert it into *.txt file having columns Ticker, Date, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume for Indexes and all Equities.

.........................

Dear aaplana your NSE_BHAV is not working. It display 'runtime error 91' while clicking Convert and selecting the downloaded bhavcopy from NSE.....

U are getting error 91, might be u have not created a folder NSE_EOD in the same directory where NSE_BHAV is, bcos after conversion , the file *.txt is saved in above mentioned folder.
just try it:thumb:
