Hi Savant Sir,

I dont have much idea of mahurat trading. What according to you should be strategy for mahurat trading. It is of one hour and timeframe i look for minimum trading is 1 hour or 15 minutes, so my purpose wont be solved. Yesterday was a widerange bar with large volume on nifty, which suggest me that it was not a fake buy, plus with FY year ending shorts can be triggered as we already discussed somewhere. So What exactly is the situation.

Also if we look at daily charts, you will notice that it is double top formation over daily charts, and both nifty spot and nifty future failed to break and close above it. So if in one hour of mahurat trading this high is again rejected can we go long over that point.

Please clarify my point and guide me. This single hour's significance is whats puzzling me.

Hi Rajput,

Sorry to undo your detailed observation...... but their is no chart or analysis that works for Mahurat trading.... and none of the normal sound trading behaviour that works on this particular day....

It is the herd mentality at play in the opening few minutes....where the market opens with a massive gap-up...& thereafter it steadily declines.... shows some upmove in the last couple of minutes..

Only ones to be careful where one does not short it in the opening minutes... is Sugar scrips...

50-250 bucks scrips have good volumes

If I happen to be trading on Mahurat... I just short everything in sight in the opening minutes....and cover it about 5-10 minutes before closing of the session.... This works without fail... except there will be a few scrips that that doesn't come down that much.... if I remember correctly last Diwali one such scrip was UNITECH.....

Anyways....give the charts & analysis some rest for Mahurat trading & just have fun trading.....today

Happy Diwali To You & Everybody Here At Traderji & Their Families.

My dear Rajputz
Forget about trading and all those overlapping candlesticks in the graph. If you have family, light some real candles and see them reflecting in the eyes of your happy kids. Spend this single hour to make your Significant Other laugh, and thank her for her love and support. If you have parents around, touch their feet and have their blessings (they work like a charm in any sticky situation). Above all, heed the last words of thy Moderator, SvantGarde: Have some fun!

Forgive me if I took liberty to say this. Happy Diwali to you, brother.

Followed your advice and made good profit. Shorted reliance at opening at 1113 and covered at 1103. The idiots on these channels were saying buy buy before the markets opened. Midway when the markets started cooling off they started saying Diwali is the day to take Lakshmi home so book your profits. I'm glad I followed your advice instead of theirs. Thanks a lot and Happy Diwali :)
