Dear Savant and Others,

I'm holding Karur Vysya bank shares from last one year, two months back they announced bonus shares 2:5 ratio

Since i had 9 shares. I got 3 more shares credited my demat account last month and received letter for the same. In the letter they have mentioned Fractional Entitlement of 0.60... Is this because odd number of shares i had before bonus?
Do i get this in cash?
How its calculated, its almost two months i haven't heard anything about it? How can i contact them?
yesit is the fraction marketrate on ex bonusday amt will be credited to ur accountlike dividend

Dear Savantji and other members,
Ive been watching this thread for the last one week and have gained from
Savantji's advice on Vijaya Bank and Coal India IPO.

I got 199 shares which I sold at 337 on opening day and made decent profits on intraday all due to the advice of Savantji.

Im sure I would have definitely sold Coal India at Rs.300-310 had i not read Savant sir's advice.

Im truly amazed how his prediction of 310-345 range held good on the opening day.
Thanks alot savantji.

I am a trader who lost money in the markets for the last 10 years. Now I have entered the market with borrowed funds and planning to do swing trading with half the corpus and remaining as investment with a horizon of 3-12 months.
I seek guidance and help from you Savantji and also from other members.

Thanking you in anticipation

Dear Savantji and members,

I am planning to buy delta corp tomorrow, I know it has run up a lot but I can sense that the stock is on a upmove and also I like the idea of the company engaged in gaming business.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has bought the stock(probably at very low levels) and also a lot of FIIs are buying it. I think there is still much steam left in the stock.

Please give me your opinion on this.

Hi Kumaran,

I am glad my comments has helped you in some gains....

While I don't advise anyone to trade the markets with borrowed money....somehow I have a hunch....you would still go on regardless....

Therefore, here is my advice on Delta... suggest you hold your horses on this and get on to it on a down day....

Swing trading for now is also not prudent... especially on borrowed money.

It would help to know the quantum of fund at your disposal....& you would need to guard it with your life....I don't think you have the luxury of one more error....Quick hit & run should be sufficient till first week of January... and you may have to exit earlier than one would in normal circumstances...for obvious reasons....

Happy & Safer Trading

If the AFL is available, I am glad to have it. Then no need of calculation of TSL.

Please give the link of AFL.
Hi Veluri,

I tried the DEMA TSL. It will not work. It takes you out very early and you would miss the uptrend. I can post a chart to explain it if you are interested.

Writing an AFL is a bit difficult and lengthy for this DEMA TSL as the DEMA calculation itself is not simple. But I have made an AFL with simple MA as per Savant's explanation. This too has the same problem.
