Hi Ashutosh,

Whatever you have got is correct. But I am further filtering the triggers with MACD/RSI/PVI and OBV. After applying the filter only two triggers have qualified and I have posted them.

Anant,
Aru doing the filtering manually..?
Do you have plan to add filtering in the AFL..?
Can we consider the Fibonochi retracement, Triggers near support/trend line while filtering..? What is your settings for MACD/RSI/PVI and OBV..?

Hi Ajay,

Immediately below the price chart is William %R & below that is Money Flow Index and the last one doesn't need any describing..but still before somebody comes up with a query....it is Volume...

5 & 6 MA doesn't tally with yours & others because there was some tweaking to it.... but frankly speaking since the software has gone through 4 major revisions...and it was done many years back....at the time... I had more than 30 odd tweaks for the averages... on my pad for the guys programming could refer to it for purpose of programming and testing.....but don't really know which was actual tweak....finally used...anyways it is not all that different from normal MA.

if you or anybody has the patience can always find the tweak by curve fitting.....:)

Savant sir,

do u think we are better off using a combination of CCI and Williams %, instead of one of them?

Hi Nava,

1) Yes, after generating the triggers I manually check the charts for othe criteria mentioned. It takes a few minutes only.

2) The additional filters are not added to the AFL at present.

3) Fibo, S/R or anything else is your choice. If you feel you can filter the triggers better with your criteria, you can go ahead.

4) Standard parameters are used for MACD and RSI. OBV and PVI do not require any parameters.

5) In addition to MACD and RSI being in Buy mode, OBV should be increasing, and PVI should be increasing and above its 20 day simple moving average.

Re: Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On - Chapter II

Hi Anant / Savant Sir,

First of all, thanks a ton for the buy trigger from both of you.
As per buy trigger of ISPAT given by you, i bot 1000 shares @19.5 of ISPAT. :thumb:
Now i am just thinking to pump in some more money.
Could you please tell me what is the right price ( consolidation / dips ) to go for more shares ? Does averaging wud help here ??

Regards,
Athreya
Hi Athreya,

You are already on profit of 28.2% as on today's closing price. As Ispat has reached its first target today and is still in increasing trend, it would be better to see whether some retracement takes place and then add to the current position.

Hi Anant,
could u give me the afl for further filtering the triggers?? It would be very helpful...
regards
Ashutosh
Dear Ashutosh,

Filters are not included in AFL. It would help to take genuine decisions if the triggers are filtered manually by considering the indicators. Visual observation of indicators prove to be fruitful.
