Hi LtT,

It is a lot easier with experience.... but basically PA... watching the December & Jan NF and their respective change in Premium from Last week...to Spot helps....

SG, I read that the current roll-over is at 39.5%, which is more than a 3 month average.

You had commented earlier about considerable shorts in the system.

So, could it be that the shorts are rolled over to Jan 2012 ?

LtT,

Smart Money never waits for the last couple of days to Rollover.....If they are in command of the market without the participation of any Investment flow...then they will play the market as they please.... only thing that remains in the last couple of days for them...is their option positions......and they will do what needs to be done to squeeze the maximum out of their options....

Shorts are always present even in an extremely Bullish Market....

Trend change is basically nothing but ratio change of Bulls:Bears

Participants are almost constant...!!!

The PCR is still hovering around .85 to .86 for the last few days.

Does it generally move over 1 when the trend change happens?

Or is this not given away to retail investors?
