Hi Savant and penchant

I am trying to go through all the threads where Savant is posting but in the meantime dont want to miss out this discussion.

Would you plz elaborate this particular thing on "distance of pivot from R1/S1" with a graphical example?

Regards
Sameer

Savant Sir;
Thanq for your quick reply.
I visit your other threads of pivots for both nifty & bank nifty; but honestly never did pay much attention to the distance of pivot from R1/S1; till you pointed out.Tat is a real great help.
Sir; one more question; ABAN reached & surpassed your first taget; . Is there a second tgt.? if so; can you gve the tgt.? is it worth while to get in now for the second tgt? Thanx in advance; Sir.

Guys,

You Have All Got It A Bit Wrong, Please Find Part Which I Have Reposted Here For Today & Yesterday.

I Have Undelined The NF Close & The Pivot, That Is What I Was Talking About,

See How The Pivot For Thursday 16th Is Lower Than The NF Close & You All Are Aware What Happened On Thursday, Similarly, Notice The Pivot For Friday Is Higher Than The NF Close, There Too, I Suppose Everybody Is Aware What Happened On Friday.

I Hope You Guys Have Got It Now

Savant Sir;
Yes. Now i got it right.
it is the distance from close to pivot ; which gives the clue to direction; not the distance between pivot & R1 /S1 as stated by me.
Thanx for clarification.

Hello Captain,

On 15 April I Took Position In Satyam, IOB, Idea, Hindalco, YesBank And On 16 April In WockPharma. S/L's Executed For Satyam, Idea, Hindalco, WockPharma. I Booked Profit Only On IOB As It Went > 10% Up Yesterday. Only Position Held Is YesBank. P/L Statement Shows Appx. 2% Loss On 5 Positions(Excluding Brokerage). Is It Ok? As There Are Not Much Buy Triggers, What Should I Do Next, In Current Market Condition?

Yesterday I Also Tried To Short RelCap In Second Session But Market Was Too Volatile I Exited With Little Loss. I Think It's Very Very Tough To Day Trade Stocks. I Tried To Search Day Trading System For Stocks Which Is Based On SMA CrossOver And BB In The Forum But No Luck! Most Day/Swing Trading System In The Forum Are For Derivatives. Can't We Start Thread Like Saint Sir Started Mini-Flow?

Thanks.:)

Doc, This a question directed on Savant Sir, but I would like to say something. It is better to let the market to come to you rather than other way around. Any system, even the flow method has its parameters clearly defined,we cant just jump in cause market is not following the parameters. If no triggers are there, it is better to wait by the sidelines, rather than jumping in and losing money.
And, yeah I also had my SL triggered. But, I think it is better to have a small loss rather than a huge loss.

One more thing doc, I cant tell you about others but WockPharma was to be sold on friday's high because what happened on thrusday. if you have your charts with you, take a look, it was a bearish indication on thrusday.
