I have question to ask you, I have been reading around this forum for quite sometime. I find that many systems here are based and revolve around Pivot points for swing and day trading. Even, the Nifty PP thread you have is the same(Although I am not able to fully understand the entry rules for the Nifty Futures Pivot Points system).

So, if I take up some high volatility stocks and trade using Pivots. Is that advisable?

Pivot Point I Post Is For Seasoned Professional NF Traders & Requires Great Deal Familiarity To Start Trading Comfortably.

If Interested In NF Trading Wait For A Fresh BUY Trigger From My End Cause This Trend In My Opinion Has Almost Run Its Course.

Now Coming Back To The Pivots Resistances & Supports, Those Are Special Calculations, They Are Neither Floor Pivots, Woodie's, Camarilla Or DeMark's

Will Discuss How They Are Calculated When The Time Is Right.

In The Meantime Keep A Close Track Of NF & BNF Both Lot Sizes Per Contract Is 50.

My Favourite Pairs Are USD/JPY, USD/CAD, EURO/JPY (Did You See The Volatiltiy In It On Friday), EURO/USD & GBP/USD

I Am Holding Longer Term Positions In EURO/USD, EURO/JPY & USD/JPY

On An Intraday Basis I Am In Out Approximately 700-800 Full Lots On Each Of The Pairs Mentioned Above, USD/CAD Much Less Maybe About 300-400 Lots

By The Way I Trade On Multi ECN No Fixed Spreads For Me, I Pay A Total Of $5 Bucks Per Round Trip Per Lot, It Used To Be $8 Earlier But Due To My Volume They Have Decreased It

Don't Mind My Earlier Remark, Cause During My Period Here, We Have Had & Still Have Numerous People Asking About Some Paid Service, As If The Knowledge Contained Here Is Of No Use.

You See They Don't Want To Read Through Threads To Learn, No Wonder Snake Oil Vendors Are Doing Roaring Business, People Haven't Been Able To Shrug Off The Mental Block, That If They Are Paying Money Then They Are Getting Better & Genuine Advice, It Goes On To Become Even Worse Where The Quantum Of Money Gets Directly Related To Expected Quality Of Service.

For That Matter Has Any Of These Guys Trading In Nifty Futures Ever Gone Through My Other Thread, One BUY Trigger Keeps More Than Doubling Your Capital Employed, Consistently ....But We Still Have Visitors Asking Every Other Day About Paid Service......Quite Sad

Fridays are the days, I am really careful on. On one particular day, I had an open position making me $300 on a singular position and then bam, my ISP played the great Indian trick and went off without warning. When, the market opened on Monday I was down by -$250.

From ,what I have been reading fixed spreads are gud for high volumetric trading but can become a fish bone in your neck, during news hours, with brokers either trying to cut you off the market or filling you at a costlier prize than quoted(of course also, this happens in non -fixed ones).

So, which broker are you on?
