Hi Raghu,

a) ETFs Are Just As Liquid As Any Of The Stocks That Are Traded

b) NIFTYBEES - Comprises Of NIFTY Stocks

i) Let's Say You Are Bullish On NIFTY Going Up But You Don't Have The
Time Or Ability Or Sufficient Funds To Choose Or BUY The Stocks
That Comprises The NIFTY. So What Do You Do In That Case, You BUY
NIFTYBEES.

ii) It Is Better Than Putting Money In Mutual Funds, Cause MFs Have Lots
Of Conditions & Charges In Terms Of Entry Load, Exit & Etc.

Disadvantages Are Probably Nil, Don't Know Personally Of Any....Unless You Can Choose Your Own Stock To Enter & ETFs Will Move In Accordance With The Underlying Index Or Sector It Maybe For....

You Can Go To NSE Website & Check On ETF Details & Their Respective Components More Detailed Explanation.

http://www.nseindia.com/content/products/prod_etfs.htm

JUNIORBEES - Comprises Of All The Stocks That Comprise NIFTY JUNIOR

Similarly For BANKBEES Comprises Of All The Stocks That Are Components Of BANK NIFTY.

Check My BUYHOLD List NIFTYBEES, JUNIORBEES & BANKBEES Are Still There On BUYHOLD.

GOLD ETF Is Just As Liquid As Any Other ETFs, To Know First Hand You Can Tell Your Broker To Put It Up On The Terminal Screen & See For Yourself.
Do ETF's have any tax benefits? like ELSS for eg.

Savantji, I too was working on an excel sheet that can track calls and the prices to be enter can be done by copy pasting a bhav copy. I had the excel sheet almost completed when I realized that there are issues because of which the calls can't be tracked on excel sheets without live data since it is not possible to tell if the if script hit SL first or target first.

I don't know programming of macros so I had to give up after spending a lot of time on it. In the new thread that you have created are the calls being tracked intraday? It is also a problem to update it when you have a new buy price with new SL the problem is compounded.

Hi Savant,

In one of the post you mentioned, that you track around 200-odd stocks for investing. Can you provide the list of stocks. I have added your Yahoo id to my messenger. Please accept the request.

And a big thank you to you..... for your kind advice I have recovered about 10% of capital...... :)

Hi Rangarajan,

Thank you for your appreciation and suggestion. In fact I am trying to work on the excel sheet as it is easy for me also to update. Shortly I will start posting in that format. Also, I am thinking of putting the list in alphabetical order on stock symbols. Any suggestions for this change?

uma,
thank you for taking my suggestion, also why dont you incorporate date of entry of that particular script which can give the rate of return on the investmrnt.

Hi Rangarajan,

The date of entry is already there on the first line. For triggers of each day I will maintain a separate sheet so that the total number of stocks will not be too high in a single post. It will also help in watching the signals of a given date in a single sheet. That way there is no need for hunting for the entry date.
