Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On

Hi y2j826,

BUY Triggers Had To Be Bought A Particular Price, Therefore, I Wonder How Many May Have Gone To BUY @ Price.

Moreover, Expiry Next Week Doesn't Mean Market Is Going To Go Down.

Will Check On Yesterday's Triggers How Many Actually Triggered BUY Today.

If There Is Some Consolidation After Running So Hard Is Quite Healthy & Gives Opportunity For Fresh Entry.

Next Time Please Post Any Query In The Mother Thread

I know expiry doesn't means always down we can see boom up too but the thing is your followers get scared if there is bit fall in market too. You are good in stock market and know where you need to move out of stock but some peoples here only are newbies and totally Dependant on you, they don't know what's patience. ;)

Hi y2j826,

People Will Have To Live With The Downside If They Want To Remain In The Market, And The Risk Is Minimised By Position Sizing, Triggers Have Worked Well So Far, Therefore, Not Posting Them When Stocks Trigger Wouldn't Be Fair Either.

you are recommending size but they are not following it and buying in huge quantity, example is last week fall of '3 days' many of the SL's were going to hit and everyone was scared here, told you that time too that you need to revise the SL cuz that fall was not expected one not even by you.

If People Don't Follow Position Sizing, There Is Not Much I Can Do About It.
Yes A Few S/Ls Did Trigger But Then That Is Part Of The System & Risk Management.

Once When NF Did Close Below 4181 For 3 Consecutive Days It Was Expected To Close Some Or Entire Gap That Was There On 18th May, What Was Surprising Was The Recovery That Happened Almost With A Vengeance.

Moreover, I Have Posted Broader View For Longer Term On The Market & Just As People Are Probably Not Following Position Sizing They Are Perhaps Not Following The S/Ls Either, Except For A Few Who Posted As To What They Should Be Doing With Their Holding.

Good Evening Savant Ji,

This discussion btw u n the other gentleman y2j826 is of real knowledge for new to the market people like me. But there is a request (u must be knowing this best), if u can also guide people for how long they shud hold on to a share indicated in the list it wud b very very useful. U might disagree to this as u know things best but then when u tell people like me to hold on to share till mid august or even later n then get back to u, if something of that sought can be highlighted in the triggers, it might just be very very useful.

Thanks n Regards to both the Gentlemen

Savant Ji Good Evening Once Again,

I did not log on to the forum yesterday so was going thru some of the posts. I would request you to please answer this post as I wud also like to understand the meaning of face value of a share and of what importance it is (to the investror also)?

Another question, what if the company shuts down, does the investor get atleast the face value of that share or not?

If you may please take out sometime and explain it.

Thanks n Regards,

Hi
Savant Jee,
Sir, what does face value of a share means and what is its significance to the investor? also, what will happen, if a share price goes to '0' ,then, in that case what will an invester get from that particular share? Does a face value gurantee any returns to an investor?

Depends how the company is shutting down. When shutting the company, after the company has fulfilled its obligations(such as servicing its debt, employee salaries), if anything remains, that is distributed back to shareholders.

I don't know the "definition" of face value, but I will try to explain it. When you purchase a share, you are actually putting money into that company. But this investment opportunity is priced at a premium.

Example:
Lets assume Mukesh Ambani wants to take a company "RELIANCE LOGISTICS PVT LTD(RELLOG)" public. He decides that the face value of share is Rs. 10, and there will be premium of Rs. 100. So in the open market, he will be selling you a share at Rs. 110. (face value + premium).

So lets say you are subscribing to 200 shares of RELLOG. So you will be paying 200 x 110 = 22000. Now, out of this Rs. 22, 000, not all is going to RELLOG's account. Only 200 x face value, i.e, 200 x 10 = 2000 is going to RELLOG's account. The rest 20000 you paid was a premium. The better the opportunity for profit, higher is the premium.

I hope you got it.

Now what is the share price is less than face value? If you have understood the above explanation, you can derive that such share have negative premium(screwed up)!

Hi Sumeet,

Position Sizing & S/L Is Given For Those Who Are Risk Averse & Do Not Want To Take Risk Beyond A Certain Point.

While I Have Posted My General View Of The Broader Market With Reasons & Where It Is Heading, In What Time Frame....If One Can Have Some Faith In The Same, May Hold For Longer Period, Without Getting Upset With Normal Gyrations Of The Market.

Bunny Has Already Given You A Reply Regarding Face Value, But There Is Still No Guarantee, That A Share Holder May Get Even That....In The Event Where Company Closes Down & Promoters Can't Be Tracked.
