A suggestion to all those who feel distracted by others posts.

go to your control panel

=> edit ignore list.

enter the name of the member's name.

for eg. in some threads I don't want to see others posts other than the thread starter. then, I will add all the new posters in that thread to my ignore list.

cheers.

prasad.
No offence but jsut for sake of this thread *** is on my list... asking for *** charts 10 times a day and talking rubbiush dosnt help anyone I guess... I would rather read some book rather than reading crap posts :|

Lemme try and show you how to bag a bigger fish on google. In regards to reading material.

In Google use the follwoing parameters:

"filetype:XYZ" - this will search the world for any files with the XYZ extension. so e.g. searching above parameter will show only pdf files in result, filetype:exe will only show exe files in result.

"intext:ABC" - this will make sure that whatever you tried finding has got the ABC term somewhere in the file.
e.g. searching above parameter will result in links which has got ABC wrriten somewhere in it.

NOW...

try searching

filetype: pdf intext:TOP SECRET

and in relation to us

filetype: pdf intext:Van Tharp (Remove space before p)
filetype: pdf intext:Simple Moving Average (Remove space before p)
and so forth...

I hope this helps a lot of people and I get good rep for this ;)
Good Job man.........

Thanks a Ton

I have a simple query please..

Has Savant ji posted any trading guide for newbies anywhere in this forum please which explains his strategies? I feel if yes this thread will be easier for me to follow once i have read that. I understand he has been constantly helping us out with his words of wisdom but since my fundamentals are weak, they are of not much use to me at the moment :)

P.S - I have completed reading most of Saint's Teach a man to fish...
Any pointers will be appreciated. :thumb:

my point is when you can simply ignore somebody's posts, why should we say such thing (like crap etc.,) to a fellow boarder? and offend him/her?

BTW, I found most enlightening replies from some senior members /serious thinkers/ successful traders in response to those seemingly rubbish posts.

I feel let thousand thoughts flow. and those thoughts will flow only when there is freedom of expression.

ya. we can always censure others if there is any thing obscene or against common morals. but, not for those posts in which we are interested.

Well the only reason was to ask him to stop the useless posts and still with topic... its not that all his posts are nusance.. just some of them... (to me ofcourse)
I would rather get good quality posts from him and not get rubbish rather than not getting anything at all...

Even I am a new member here as can be seen and I am sure that quite a lot op people might not like my posts too... but if i am told I would learn a lesson rather than being offended... :)

No hard feelings, nothing personal..

Peace,
hardik

Hi all,

@Bunny

The VSA book that u have read (Master the Markets).... does it provide with the required info that is necessary to understand the VSA analysis in general, without using their recommended software?

I have just began reading it and it looks like the author is trying to market his tool more than enlightening the readers with the knowledge:p

Thanks
