Hi Brokerji,

I Can Only Talk Of Personal Experience....I Don't Know About The The Time Frame.....If My Entries Are Relatively Fresh Then My Margin Of Safety Is Small, As A Result If I Am Constantly Getting Whipsawed On A Daily Basis As It Happened During December & Before, Then I Prefer...To Cut My Losses & Sit On The Sidelines...In My Case I Was Out Of The Market For About 3-4 Months....During Which Time...I Had Stopped Posting Any Triggers & Only Resumed From February Of This Year, Once I Was Certain, That Things Had More Or Less Stabilised.

I Never Stated...There Is 'No Scope', What I Said Was That I Will Think About It...Considering I Have Only Been In The Market Since 17th May 2004, There Is Not That Much That I Have Learned From The Markets...Perhaps Market Will Teach New Things...Everyday Till We Exist.

Whether....I Can Contribute Something Substantial To A New Thread, Is Something That I Need To Ask Myself.....& Then Decide On A New Thread...

Savant Sir,
Thanks for the reply. But at the cost of looking "Devil's Advocate" let me ask if you anybody who made money between Oct 2008 to Mar 2009 being bullish (through long positions) or from July 2009 till now being bearish, so market does have its cycles which if strong overwrites everything from fundamental to technical reasoning.
And about the proposed thread I sincerely understand your busy-ness and "no-scope" for the thread, but what I was trying to emphasize there was that its easy to hold positions (whether long/short) than to create in market deprived of any real signals.
So do you still see any concrete entry points now ? Losing principal is a totally different pressure game than losing notional profit :p And moreover I don't think there's any scope for plain vanilla equity players to go short beyond intra-day. :(
Regards,
BJ :)

Error Of Comparing AUSTRALCOKE With Satyam...Incase Of Satyam Perpetrators Are Out Of The Company....Which Is Not The Case With AUSTRAL....Once A Scam Artist...Will Always Remain One With Different Ruse To Fool The Investor & Regulators.

and what about austral coke, is it going to be another satyam.........so that we can enter at low levels and reap good profits later on when everything settles down, if so, whats that low level

Hi Talisman,

Can you post here the latest Excel sheet updated till yesterday (11-09-2009)? I tried to update from the day I left but finding it difficult. I tried to make it like Anant's Excel file but it was still more difficult. I don't know how he is able to update it with 200 triggers in so many sheets (active triggers, trades, monthly triggers etc.) If you can post the latest update I will start from Monday.

Regards

Someone had asked about suzlon I think a week back or so..
Was checking the charts yesterday and seems like the selling in suzlon hasn't subsided. 100+ levels is bring new supply. I guess it might take a while for excess supply to get absorbed.

Looking at some other stocks as well seems like people who got in early are using the higher levels to book out. May be there is another correction to come before we can take out 5000 for good. Beside technically 4789 is a 61.8% retracement of the 2008 fall and those who are looking for trouble around this level supposedly get it. :D

Cheers!
