Stocks To Keep A Close Eye On

Thanks for the reply. But at the cost of looking "Devil's Advocate" let me ask if you anybody who made money between Oct 2008 to Mar 2009 being bullish (through long positions) or from July 2009 till now being bearish, so market does have its cycles which if strong overwrites everything from fundamental to technical reasoning.
And about the proposed thread I sincerely understand your busy-ness and "no-scope" for the thread, but what I was trying to emphasize there was that its easy to hold positions (whether long/short) than to create in market deprived of any real signals.
So do you still see any concrete entry points now ? Losing principal is a totally different pressure game than losing notional profit
And moreover I don't think there's any scope for plain vanilla equity players to go short beyond intra-day.

The stock does not remember that you had shorted it at 34. If so, why should you remember that? Trade the price and charts as you see them today.
I do not know much about intraday charts of specific stocks but Nifty as such has been giving clear indicators of moving up and taking supports first at 4580 multiple times and now above 4700.
Depending upon the timeframe you are operating in - every bull market will have short opportunities and every bear market will have long opportunities. We need to learn to identify those.

Dear Savant Sir,
I feel aligning one's psychology with the prevailing market psychology is a must for profit making, like I made a lot of profit in Jan-March 2009 as I was Bear and so was the market, but then the same bearishness penalized me after UPA Govt. formation. Coz I never believed market to go up inspite of a day's boost of 20% and kept on shorting in expectation of some rapid correction of that 20%, which never happened Moreover it was tough for anybody to take a fresh buy in something say Unitech at 84 when we made money shorting the same stock at 34 few weeks ago.
But now the last 10 days are totally new in my short trading career as for newbies like me there are hardly any signals. So is there a possibility if you or some of your old friends/followers take pain to start something ab-initio for newbies (like me) ? I guess the coming two months are a great opportunity for people interested in learning the game for long term.
