There Must Have Been Many Who Must Have Lost A Lot Of Money In The Initial Downfall...Thinking It Was Perhaps Normal Correction....That Happened A Couple Of Times A Year....& Once It Was Apparent That This Was More Than A Normal Correction....I Don't Know How Many May Have Taken Advantage Of The Prolonged Downturn That Ensued Thereafter...

I Remember.... I Got The Sell Trigger In NF @ 6073.00...But Before That Many Stocks Had Already Started Giving SELL Triggers.....Almost 15-20 Stocks On A Daily Basis....That Is When My Ears Went Up....& Knew This Was Something Bigger...Because I Have Enough Confidence In My System...Just As I Mentioned During The Month Of March This Year...That When My System Starts Giving BUY Triggers By The Dozen On A Daily Basis...I Know Irrespective Of All The Cartoons Jabbering Away On TV Channels, Figures Of 5000 On Sensex .....That Market Was Going Go Up.

I Don't Know In Particular If Rakesh Made Any Money During The Fall....But There Must Have Been Somebody On The Otherside Of The Trade Who Must Have....But Couldn't Have Been Many Though.

Yes Even For An Equity Investor It Is Possible To Make Money In A Downfall Without Putting Any New Money.

This Is Something I Have Written Here In This Thread.....That During The First Week Of January After A Few Days Of Fall....My Sister Called Me Up In Panic....As To What She Sould Do With Her Portfolio...I Took The List Of All Her Holdings On The Phone...& Told Her I Will Call Back...After Putting The Portfolio On NSE Website...The Value Was Close To 26+ Lacs...As Of That Days Closing....Next Day I Called Her & Told Her To SELL Everything In Her Portfolio & Put The Proceeds Away In FD....Then When Her Portfolio Had Come Dow To Around 9 Lacs...I Called Her To Tell Her To Start Buying Back Some Of The Stocks In Small Quantities...To My Horror...She Tells Me She Never Sold The Stocks When I Had Told Her....

26 Ka Maal 9 Mein Mil Jata...Baki Sab Makhan....But It Never Happened....

That Is Why I Tell Everybody Do NOT Get Atttached To Your Stocks...Because Stock Doesn't Think Before Going Down...Ki Rizuk Ko Mujhse Itna Pyar Hai....Is Liye Mujhe Neeche Nahin Jana Chahiye....
