Just a warning - We had a bunch of people going ahead buying the 4700CEs without fully understanding the risk involved. Luckily, things have played out well. Then some people went to using October options for whatever reasons.
I will strongly recommend that people who are not fully comfortable with options and do not understand the risk of writing options, do not go ahead and write options. Ofcourse this is not for people who are comfortable with options and the intraday movements - Talisman, pooja, Chaitanya etc are now getting adept at it.
Just a friendly neighbourhood warning ...

Izzner Had Mentioned He Made The Biggest Ever Single Day Profit Of 80K,
He Was Not Into Futures...But He Had Capital Of 10 Lacs To Invest, Then One Day From The BUY Triggers, I Think It 4 Or 5 Stocks That He Picked Up, Investing About 4 Lacs.... Some Days Later, I Asked Him Whether He Will Be Comfortable Allocating Some Amount For Futures Segment...He Was Willing....To Try...As A Result He Has Done Many Trades....But There Was That One Particular Day He Made 80K....I Have No Reason Not To Believe Him.....But It Was In The Futures Segment Of The Market Not Buying & Selling Shares.
Tarun (tghai)....Well His Profit Of 75K Was A Surprise For Me Because I Was Not Aware That He Had Averaged The CALLs Going Upto 30 Lots.... Even With Tarun, I Do Not Have Any Doubts That He Maybe Misrepresenting Or Inflating The Profit Figures.
Izzner & Tarun...Both Their Trades Were In Futures & Options Segment & It Is More Than Possible To Make That Kind Of Profit....But If Not Done With Discipline, One Can Loose More Than They Have Indicated In A Single Day.
Consistency...Of Making Good Profit...Will Be A Hallmark Of A Good & Disciplined Trader....I Hope For Both & Most Friends Here To Become Good & Disciplined Traders....But That I Will Know Only After A Few Years...
Now One May Ask Why I Should Believe The Figures Mentioned By Izzner & Tarun, My Upbringing Has Been Such....That I Must Always Believe Everybody What They Say Unless & Until I Discover Otherwise.....There Is No Reason For Me To Suspect Anybody Or See Them Through Coloured Glasses...Irrespective Of What My Past Experience With Anybody Else May Have Been.

Axis Banks qualified institutional placement (QIP) cum global depository receipt (GDR) issue will open for subscription today, reports CNBC-TV18's Vidhi Godiawala quoting sources. The banks QIP and GDR size is around USD 800 million to 1 billion.
Axis Bank QIP could lead to 1516% dilution. The bank had got shareholder's approval via postal ballot yesterday.
