There was this time way back in 1994 when someone told my dad to pick up this stock at 54 .. McDowells right ? the liquor company? and to see it today with a target of 1110 ...Wow !...

We really do drink a lot of whisky and rum in India

Hi Hills, I bought McDowell @ 100, Reliance Debentures F Series @ 100 and some more way back in 1992-93, other 2-3 companies have been closed,
Reliance debentures certificates I lost, they sent my money Rs.20,000/- to
Investor protection cell which I could not get till date and the only 100 shares of McDowell I held in certificate form converted to dmat form.
this is a great co. i.e. growing year on year.
