Hi SB,

If I Was Dependent On The Guys From CNBC To Generate BUY/SELL Triggers, Then, There Wouldn't Have Been Any Triggers From February Onwards....Anyways SESAGOA Has Been On BUYHOLD For Quite Sometime & Next Target & S/L Has Been Updated.

For Your Benefit I Will Post The Charts Once I Get Rest Of The Stuff Restored On HDD.

Here Is A Link For The Updated Targets & S/Ls

Brokerage policies

Friends, jsut coming up with one more question... mre related to my trader and brokerage rather than scripts.

Anyway, till now I was investing/trading as per my broker's guidelines which is as follows:

1. I can go long/short on any shares at any time of the day but the settlement is to be done at 4:00PM same day...
2. This preety much means that I cannot short sell a share and cary it to next day as I will be minus at the settlement time which means that that shares would be Auctioned.
3. Brokerage is 0.05/0.25 for intraday and delivery respectively.
4. Delivery policy is T+2 which means that if I buy a script on monday and dont sell it by 4:00Pm same day, I cannot sell it till delivery that will be Monday + Tuesday + Wednesday 4:00PM (THIS IS AS EXPLAINED BY MY BROKER)

Now as advised by another mate of mine,

he advised that long time back when he used to trade the policies used to be like below:

1. Each script has a certain settlement date, which can be 2-3 days away from the date I buy the scripts that means: if TCS has a expiry of the thursday and I go short on it on monday - I can buy it bac anytime before Thursday 4:00PM and need not buy back same day.... IS THIS CORRECT???

2. He agreed with T+2 delivery policy but advised that If i Buy on monday and settlement is on same day, I can still sell it before delivery. He said that I donot need to wait for delivery to sell the scripts.??? IS THIS TRUE??

I spent couple of hours discussing this with him but eventually left it for the night as I thought as if either I was not able to explain everything to him properly or else it could be my Broker having different (not so trader friendly policies )

I would appretiate if someone can spare some time and provide an answer to the above.

Regards,
Hardik

Re: Brokerage policies

Hi Hardik,

Your're sitting in Sydney , DownUnder.

Are you using an indian brokerage firm ?

If yes , then stocks bought under delivery can be sold in two ways a) as BNST ( Buy Now Sell Tommorow) . The list of stocks under this varies from broker to broker. PLs check with your broker.

b) the second way of selling delivery stocks is only when you get them in your DMat a/c. Normally all stocks not under BNST can only besold once you receive them in your Dmat a/c.

2. Any stock you buy and want to sell the same day (intra day) or vice versa has to be squared up before market closing vz 3.30 pm that day . Some brokers have an auto square up mode for open positions when stocks are bought on intra day basis. This auto square starts up varying broker to broker from 3.00pm to 3.10 pm. Check with your broker about his time.

regards

Re: Stocks to watch out intraday tomorrow

Enygma
Your post reminds me of a wife who went to doctor for sonography accompnied by her husband. Doctor says that I am sure child is a boy. then after keeping quiet for few seconds he says, in case child is not a boy then I am sure child is a girl. Couple walked out of doctor's office hoping that doctor is right atleast in one of the assumptions otherwise IT is a disaster.

Cheers !!!!

joke may be good, but if it does not fit in the context it does not create humour.BB is a very important indicator. Those are the most successful traders who can anticipate a major move. Thanks a lot to enygma. I don't know much about him, but he is on the right track.
