Hi friends,
Some members have converted it into a lottery ticket by buying the calls in truck loads without any consideration for Money Management, and are now putting pressure on SG to turn around their trades.
cheers.
Dear Prasadam

Yes, I admit, extremely sorry for this. I am still novice and didn't thought about money management at the point of buying those calls. I thought that when SG gave a recommendation, and without any S/L, then it is going to happen for sure.

Savantji, I am really sorry if I am putting some pressure on you. But at this point, I can not figure out myself what to do next. I also thank all seniors to understand the scenario, like Chitanya helped me to understand Savantji's Strategy.

I have learnt a lesson that I should never take this kind of risk in future.

Sincerely,
GG

Hello GG,

This is what i can understand of the suggestions....... I am not sure if i am right but here is what i can decipher.............:)

If one is shorting the PUTS.... then One can Profit if the market goes UP... If the market falls Further the Writing of PUTS will add to the losses.......

But here is Savant's Strategy......... my understanding .....

IMPORTANT line

Lower The NF Higher The Premiums Will Be Collected By You & Outlay Will Be Margin Of 4 NFs

Considering NIfty is at 4700, if u short for every 50 points fall ....... then the following Prevails........

NIFTY------------ WRITE(s)----------------- Premium paid

4650-------------4700 PE---------------- say u pay 100rs
4600-------------4800PE----------------- 50
4550-------------4900PE------------------25
4500-------------5000PE------------------10

Since we assume the market to go up from 4500,then this is what will happen...

NIFTY---------Write(s)-----------------premium

4500---------5000PE-----------10
4550---------4900PE-----------25-30 ( but the price of 5000PE will increase)
4600---------4800OE-----------40-50(But the price of the Precious 2 write's will increase)
4650--------4700PE-------------90-100(the price of precious 3 will increase....I think, at this point,5000PE's Price will start Multiplying at this point ...........:))

SO, by the time the nifty reaches back to 4700+ u will be in some good profits........

If NIFTY manages to touch 5000... then u will be planning to BUY a BOEIng.......
Chitanya,

Thanks for this explanation. One thing I can not understand, in how much quantity they have to short, or how much margin will be required for them to short. Hope Savantji will put some light on it.

Dear GG.

that post is not particularly directed to you. there are others also who have bought 50-60 lots. I am sorry for any miscommunication from my part.

just give some time to SG. he will definitely come out with a low risk strategy.

Hi GG,

Topic & Debate On The Issue Of How, Why & How Much Is Closed.....
There Is No Point Discussing It....

Ok...Regarding SELLing PUTs,

It Is Still A Bullish Stance As Far As Strategy Is Concerned But It Is Only The 1st Of The 4 Part.....

Difference Being That With Time Decay....You Should Still Be Able To Keep Most Of The Premiums..Received By You....

These PUT Premiums Will Keep Going Up As NF Goes Down, Hence The Range For Entries At Every 50+ Point Dip...At The End Of The Day It Is Only 4 Lots In This Strategy...Where You Will Block Margin = To If You Had Bought 4 Lots Of NIFTYFUTURE....
4 Strikes 1 Lot Per Strike

Later Today Or Tomorrow..Will Put Where The Premiums Will be At Various Dates Till Expiry & At Various Levels Of NF....

There is Nothing To Worry....We Will Come Through Quite Unscathed...Through This...

Hi friends,

It is a bit unnerving to read what is going on here. The original suggestion by SG is a low risk high reward trade. see this.

Some members have converted it into a lottery ticket by buying the calls in truck loads without any consideration for Money Management, and are now putting pressure on SG to turn around their trades. Had they shown this risk aversion while initiating the trade itself then things would have been different.

Any how, my suggestion is if, and only if, SG suggests some strategy to anybody in particular then take that trade. Alternatively wait till end of 1st week, as was suggested by SG initially, and take a fresh look at the market during the 2nd week.

cheers.
Very correctly said Prasadam bhai,
I am extremely sorry on putting pressure on Savant Sir by creating such a situation...actually as GG said even i have 500% and more faith on Savant Sir`s call... and ya the mistake was on my part that i became greedy to pull out what loss i had made earlier....have already lost more than 8L since 2008 crash and just to recover it back made such a mistake...
i am extremely happy that u seniors are here to work out something for ediots like me to solve my problems....
this is what i admire about u all and traderjee....where even people have to pay for water to drink, u all are here to helpus out for free...
i have slightly gone out of MM and invested on more in the hope that the mkt will surely pay me back, but this has gave me a lesson that it is not easy to earn in the mkt....i think, no i am confident that trading and learning in stock market is even difficult as compared to putting many years in medicals.....
also i have learnt now that we should minimize the loss rather then going for maximizing the profits.....
hope Savant sir will be there for us to try to bring the loss to a minimum....
Asha Pe Duniya Kayam Hai
thanks all of you....:)

Savantji,

It is not easy to find your YM. Searched a lot. Instead if you can let me know it in my profile email address, you know as a forum moderator.

Thank you very much for your help and support. Still can't understand all the things of selling PUTs etc. I must get some good books on F&O and read them, But will surely do step by step whatever you suggest. Please do not take any extra pressure of teaching me about all this PUT/CALL etc at this moment. I shall learn them once everything stabilized.

Have a nice day.
GG
