lost quite a lot of money due to the unexpected jump on Friday.
i was holding lots of 5000 call which were purchased at 90rs and sold it at 45 rs around 1pm ,just to realize it had jumped to 90 rs around 1:30.
is it advisable to trade November contract options in last week of expiry?

P.S
sorry if my method of asking for advice is inappropriate :)
These kind of unexpected POSITIVE movements are quite
common before expiry.(negative movements are a bit rare).
Now better to trade December expiry.

Hi Nisha,

Advising Anything To Buy At The Moment Is Entirely Dependent On How Much You Have Allocated For Investment....If Its Is Less Than 1.5L Then I Would Suggest Be Patient....For A Biggish Correction...Or For 2nd Week Of Januray To Have Re-Look At How The Market Is Looking Going Forward.
