I have read that futures and options are derived from the main stock or index - hence the name derivatives.
Then why do we see futures and options data to see where market can go, can't we just see actual Nifty or stock to understand? Dont these derivatives depend on main symbol for their moves???
Prices of the shares are derived from the performance of the Companies Listed ...therefore to trade I should go and sit with the CEO & CFO at their office...right
