Yes... we need both, the arrow and the crossover to initiate a thread in addition to the 3 pip rule.

Biswajit, open that period in your chart and pres CTRL + F, you will see the candle 4 crossover actually happened in the candle just before the candle marked 4 and not few candles before.

Kaps, press Ctrl + T to see the trade terminal... Right click on the open trades and click modify or delete and then you can edit or put in the stop loss and take profit.

@Sunny,Is your doubt clear now ? I have the same doubt.
I think, we need both crossover after the close of the candle and the arrow mark for the signal to be valid(in addition to 3pips rule)
.Am I right?

@Edward sir
In reference to the chart posted in confy; I am not very clear about the candle numbered 4. Crossover happened 2 candles before and 3 pips barrier was also broken. Then why that particular candle is numbered?

I think it is very important to understand the rules;when market goes against our system.(candle at 4 was a loser)How to handle and exit? Please explain using candle numbered 4 in the chart shown in confy.

Hi

Thanks Edward, I am learning basics of Forex trading from various website.
Getting good learning how to read charts etc.

I have two queries, one is very basic

1) I am not seeing my a/c in terminal, total value, profit/loss etc.
I have put few trades but can't see open/close positions.

2) basic--> I see on terminal, Pips to open value,Spread value.. How this affect trade and what does it mean.. If some one can explain..

3) Suppose 1 maco lot is of 1000 --> brokerage--5$/trade, a profit/loss of 10 pips how to calculate ?

Thanks
Kaps

A question from Biswajit

"Yes... we need both, the arrow and the crossover to initiate a thread in addition to the 3 pip rule."

The arrow and crossover can happen in any sequence. Both are valid?

Suppose I enter a trade with both crossover and arrow, then before I reach my target of 10 pips in 30 min TF , another crossover opposite to my position occurs.Should I hold or exit? I understand an ideal stoploss should be acc to 3pip rule+trigger candle. But if trigger candle is too long, my Money/Risk management rule may not allow for it.That is the confusion.
The arrow and the crossover can happen in any sequence, the arrow or the crossover whichever occurs second actually confirms the first..

suppose you enter a trade and another crossover occurs in the next candle, which is a remote possiblility if you had taken ADX into consideration, and still we can filter it if you trade at right market hours, but even then there are chances that this thing happens, and if it happens, do the following:

If a clear crossover occurs opposite to my trade position immediately after the candle I took the position, then i wait for the opposite signal to confirm i.e a reversal with all the entry points becomes my exit point.
Not only a crossover, but to exit the trade, wait for the opposite arrow as well as give it room to break the 3 pip barrier too...
Hope this clears your doubts....

What happens when the trigger candle is too high and the money management does not permit to go for such a big stop loss?

1. Get down from the 30 min tf to the lower 15 min tf.... this way you will know when to exit with least damage...
2. trade with a smaller lot, as the markets have already moved this far, may be they can reverse, so trade with a smaller lot and have the same sl principle.
3. if they are too big... just stay out... some news candle will give you such spikes, and normally the markets come back to their long term trend...

To all who are following this system, don't worry about anyone, and keep asking, we all are here to support you and guide you, no need to send me a pm about the doubts, share it right here so others too are benefited. As I have requested Laluji, he will not scare anyone here anymore for newbie questions.... and now that he is busy posting live calls, we need not worry ;)

I want to demo trade with the exact conditions of trading that I will do the real money after 2 months of successful demo trading (i know i m being optimist here  )

So,I want some advice, suggestion from experienced guys here regarding lot size, leverage and initial trading amount.

I can invest upto 25K bucks initially;but would prefer to begin with 10k.

I will risk 3-4% of my account size per trade.I plan to trade with 30min,1hr time-frame .I target 60-80 pips/week (with 4-5 hrs in the evening everyday)

Now,given our lazy boy system with its stop-loss/profit target in 30min/1hr TF; with
1)How much money should I begin with?
2)What should be the leverage and lot size that I should trade with.

Since,I will demo trade as if it is real I want answers to the above questions from senior members.

Thanks for your time
