Finally FII turned net sellers on index futures. they exited around 613 cr. Their current OI is still 16973 cr and a reduction in OI by just 3.6% will give roughly the same happiness to the bears as Afridi got by loosing to India in the semi finals.

This smart ass feels a pause is in order and has shorted 5900 straddle of the next month for a total of 335 points... stop loss for this position remains at 375 and tgt is 235...!

Poll's now closed on traderji and on TST site. Interesting that on the site and FB about 80% believe it is emotional buying and reversal will follow. But here it is more mixed... why so? Please discuss :)

The data from NSE about FII derivative activity has bought to light why they remain the driving force of our market....

Yesterday they had 16973 cr as OI in the futures index segment...
They sold about 117 cr today in the same segment....
today they have 17311 cr as OI in the same segment....

This is possible only if they traded their positions extremely well... they sold about 117 cr while their positional holding still remain higher than yesterday... my respect to all the fii out there...! take a bow guys...! take a bow...!

@comm430:
Guess the Hanging Man kinda worked huh :)

ooo - NIFTY almost closed below last week's close. Missed by about 15 points ##@$*(# - kills The Starving Trader's stats :)

Playing it safe by swing trading Silver, for now :)

Made tiny profits on the day trades but was too lazy (woke up at 10am both times) to post!! Been dumping 1/2 the position very fast to break even... saved The Starving Trader's sorry a$$ all this week!!

The Starving Trader's recent success in Silver using some hardcore Fibonacci analysis got him curious as to how many of us traders use Fibonacci in some way in our trading plans. Is this something that you always use, sometimes use, want to know how to use?

Hmm... sense another "Poll" coming on... :)
