1.Is the understanding of 3 cases of buying correctly marked?
2.In case 1 and 3 s/l is same
but in case 2 ,what should be the s/l
a)low so far or

deducting the diff. of bar of lowest bar from the low so far?

Your combo marking is incorrect. I have posted this chart some posts ago....just see that...the 13 th bar is at the low.....in case you don't find it let me know I will post that chart again and we will see the 3 entry critaria on the correctly marked chart. Will that be ok ?

The markings are done manually but I have an AFL which indicates the bars which qualify for Combo and Sequential Countdown.....I use that for sequential but combo I prefer to mark manually.....train your eyes to see combo move.....then counting becomes easy.
TDST lines are automatically marked by the AFL which I posted some posts back....they are plotted in realtime and in different timerframes...they look pretty and also they are deadly accurate. I use them for initiating fresh positions and also profit booking.....these form integral part of my trading . More one uses them , more ways one understands to make use of these lines....

1. regarding use of TDST lines as support resistance in day trade, what is best time frame as per your experiecne
2. should we take daily tdst also for long term support resistance and say in a particular day these levels are approached we can say its confluence/use it like confluence, i hope i m able to describe it clearly
3. could you plz explain the use of TD Range Expansion Index or point to any post explaining its use,i mean is it to be used as other indicators like Stoch where u gave certain qualifiers when in OB /OS zone

I have posted your chart,your chart is upto 24/8/20011 and while mine is till 2/9/2011.
Now it will be easy for you to explain the diff. scenario ....
In both the charts the marking of 13th countdown bar seems to be same to me.

We completed Combo 13 bars buy signal in Aug 2011. But sequential we have completed 12 counttdown bars and for 13th countdown bar we need a close below 8th countdownbar. This 8th countdown bar is on 24-8-2011 having a close of 9275.05. A close below this value and other conditions satisfied will complete 13th countdown bar. After that we wait for a bar in which close is greater than open or a blue candle....and there we buy...
All the above is based on Bank Nifty futures daily chart.....
