Thomas DeMark Sequential System

To STda and Demark experts:

What exactly is the "intersection" condition for a Demark set up to confirm.

Would be glad if the same can be shown in a chart

Slah
Intersection requires that the price range of either the eighth or the ninth day of the setup overlap the price activity of any setup day 3 or more days earlier
Intersection for a buy setup takes places once the high of either day 8 or day 9 of the setup is greater than or equal to low of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 days earlier

Is that an "AND" Condition for High of 8 or 9th day to be greater or equal to the Lows of 3rd to 7th day or is it that the High of 8th or 9th needs to be greater or equal to Low of any of the days between 3rd to 7th

2nd Q: Does this condition need to be satisfied also:

The day prior to the first day of a nine consecutive set up sequence for a buy signal have a close higher than or equal to the close four days earlier and for a sell signal have a close lower than or equal to the close four days earlier

Answer to Q1: Its an OR condition. Either 8th or 9th (or both)

Answer to Q2: Yup. It is actually fairly logical when you think about it.

can u pls share the AFL
also do you have AFL for combo also?
Unfortunately, not for free as yet. I've spent significant time and money on getting it correct

you mean you had an extra programmer to check on your code for sequential ?
No, I programmed it myself. In all, I went thru about 12 iterations starting from the free code available from amibroker site (about 6-8 night outs) and I did spend money on buying the book.

this forum is all about sharing....if u spent 100-150 dollars on book and find that a big cost which you dont want to share then pls think twice....here seniors like ST share so much and never charge anything...
this is a false inference, my friend. ST bhai shares out of his free will. He is not obliged to. If he suddenly decides not to bother about it or start charging money, he would not become villian overnight. So judging individuals' preferences with ST or Saint or AW10as a benchmark is very narrow minded, I am sorry to say. They have time, inclination to share what they know, fine. People who don't do, that is fine too.
