As you said, that setup has complete, so how to identify when it start and how to identify when it completes ?

Just compare the bar's closing with closing 4 days ago. Then mark that day as buy set up/ sell up day. When you get 9 CONSECUTIVE days then that set up is complete.

Sorry for my limited knowledge.

Last time (1st Nov) you said Buy setup complete now need 9 consecutive candles to complete and then we can look for long.

So buy setup starts when close is lower than previous 4 candle close and setup is complete when ?

Buy set up starts when close < close 4 bars ago and the earlier bar's close is >close 4 bars before the earlier bar ( this is called initialising ) and then we have 9 consecutive bars where close < close 4 bars ago. This is the minimum requirement of Buy set up but buy set up continues till this relationship of close < close 4 bars ago is continued. So the set up can have 10,11,12 or any number of bars.

Regarding what I said on 1st Nov, there seems to be some confusion. I am normally not likely to make such an error but please give me the link of that post , I will see if there is any typo or wrong context.

It was my mistake, sorry for that.

It was completion of 13 combo.

I thought so, as on 1st Nov there was no buy set up in sight.

But never mind, no need to be sorry. I am a human being and can and do make mistakes ( actually plenty of them ). I wanted to see the post so that if I have made a mistake, i could have corrected it so that in future the people reading it will not get confused.
