Buy set up starts when close < close 4 bars ago and the earlier bar's close is >close 4 bars before the earlier bar ( this is called initialising ) and then we have 9 consecutive bars where close < close 4 bars ago. This is the minimum requirement of Buy set up but buy set up continues till this relationship of close < close 4 bars ago is continued. So the set up can have 10,11,12 or any number of bars.

Regarding what I said on 1st Nov, there seems to be some confusion. I am normally not likely to make such an error but please give me the link of that post , I will see if there is any typo or wrong context.

So today we had this happens, i.e. close above 21st Nov, 2013 close i.e. 5999.

Now let see how it goes tommorrow. If TDST setup has to initialize then close should be below 5995. So now have to wait for this condition.

After initialization, 9 candles countdown starts or there are more conditions ?

and in 2nd/3rd candle can gives flip and then 8th/9th candle interaction, anything else which is to be consider ?

9 consecutive candles to satisfy set up conditions needed. That will complete set up...then countdown.

Yes, seems so.

So i still need to understand setup conditions.

So it seems in TDST we have
* Setup conditions
* Initialization
* Countdown

I understood last 2, and need to understand 1st one.

I haven't managed to figure out the plotting of TD Seq, by The Grafster, however the Perl AFL plotted a 9 as of today for NF and BNF.
