Hello timepass,
This report displays the historical overnight margin used. So the start and end dates are for the date range.

In your case when you tried to view it from 1st Jan to 6th Feb, it seems you had an overnight position only on a few of the dates and that's why it showed only a few entries.

Regarding the columns, all these values are for the segment selected and not the combined ledger. So,
Ledger is the simply the opening balance without subtracting the margin.
Initial margin is the span margin.
Net is the ledger balance after deducting the span+exposure margin.

From our understanding, for most people Smart Reports are sufficient. So we are wondering if this report does not provide any additional information then maybe we can disable it to keep things simple. Kindly provide your feedback on the same.

Though we have the membership of MCX and NCDEX, we haven't started offering commodities trading to our online trading clients yet. We plan to do it soon and will update on our website as soon as we do.

Kindly leave your contact details on our website and we'll send you an email as soon as we start commodities.

Yes you can open just a trading account and link your existing demat account with it. However, we'd recommend this only if you do not much of delivery based trading as there would be certain limitations with not opening a demat account along with the trading account.
Thanks for the reply TSO.

I am contemplating to close one of my Demat accounts and open a Demat account with you. What will be the AMC for the same ? Sorry due to time constraint I am unable to surf through your website very keenly so asking here only...

Also, do you offer Margin against shares & if yes then what is the approximate percentage of margin of the total cash value of shares ?

Thanks.

Hello DataRam,
We are here to answer your queries :)
Demat AMC will be Rs 300. First year AMC will be free.

For margin against shares (valuation after haircut), cash:shares can be upto 50:50.
