I understand TMO has provided an option with clients to have NEST instead of NOW.

My Queries are:
1> In NEST can money be transferred instantly from HDFC bank without any additional charges?

2> In NEST for every executed order in BSE is the additional Rs 1 is charged?

There has been some talks here about updating your back-office and you had asked if we could contribute specific pain points regarding the current version ( in addition to the generic comment about dated look-and-feel). Here's a couple that I had to face very recently -

* Being forced to login to the back-office as per financial year. Since the FY is just over, there are many trades taken in the last FY which are still open and I am having to log out and log in multiple times to check certain execution prices etc.

* Unable to download a laundry list of all trades done in a FY/Quarter. The Smart Report-> Global gives summary per contract while the Smart Report -> Details give combined results per contract per day. Many other brokers provide a simple list of all trades (ticker, date, quantity, price, brokerage) done in a specific time frame. Such a report is critical in case I need to get my trade details audited.

* The Download as excel button does not seem to work on the Smart Report-> Details page. Having to manually copy and paste into excel.

* Since each login deals with only one particular FY, there is no way I can check rolling returns / trade profitability over the last few quarters.

* Could not find a centralized space where I can download all my contract notes for a particular period (again critical for audit requirements)

I hope you note these issues and treat our request of an updated and better functional back-office software with some urgency.

1) When I installed NOW on another just formatted PC, it installed ok but on logging in, my marketwatch were all haywire with the colums all over the place. Do I need to copy any .ini files from the old PC ??

2) As asked by another member above, alongwith upgradation of the trading platform, will you also be upgrading your backoffice ?

1. In case of fund transfer through NEST payment gateway, there would be a per transaction charge. There would not be an additional cost NEFT and RTGS.
2. In NEST, additional charge of Re 1 per executed order in case of BSE will not be there.
 
TSO does not provide any exposure against shares held in demat a/c, which is a big handicap.

Do you have any plan to provide such margin?
Sorry currently we do not provide exposure against shares held in your demat account. As of now we do not have any such plans. However, if this changes we'll surely keep you informed by updating the same on our website.

We appreciate your feedback. It helps us offer better service to all our clients.

1. We are already working on adding the functionality to access multiple financial years with same login. The same has been communicated to the vendor.

2. This feature is currently not there in the smart reports. However, the same can be achieved by another report "939-Global Datewise Sauda Detail". This report was not enabled earlier. We just did so.

3. Thanks for letting us know about the "Download as excel button". It has been fixed now. Please let us know in case you still face issues.

4. This looks like more of an issue with different logins for different FY. As in point 1, we are working on this.

5. Sorry did not understand this issue. Please elaborate what you mean by "centralized space".

1. Please take a backup of usersettings.ini of the new installation and keep it aside. Replace it with the same file from the old installation. It should resolve your issue.

2. Regarding the back office, from what we gather, most of the issues are with the look and feel (which is also very important). We believe in offering the best of the services to our clients and will do everything we can for the same. We have also given the feedback to our back office vendor.
