Actually SMARTTRADEONLINE as conveyed to me is very much open to this suggestion...and the only issue at present is making this structure applicable/ compatible with their Backoffice,,...and they are working on this...so I think its just a matter of time....that they merge this and we get maximumbenefits...:thumb:

I think the brokerage for index/equity options is too much for .7 paisa plan
Rs 7 per lot
It is not at par with other plans, in value

I think for options Achiivers are the best

We will try to do things if they are technically feasible and make business sense.

We have thought of this particular issue and hence checked we if can implement the same. However, there are some technical issues which are not in out hands. We will still try to have it done but due to the dependency will not be able to comment more on it.

2 possible workarounds for the end user.... judge for yourself.

But these are workarounds, needing thoughtful effort from the user. Not easy.

Anyway, it looks like the breakeven for currency options is about 8 pips.

Ok. Will upload our fix and then we can see which is better of the two evils.

Dear STO, Thanks for reply....I think many option writer using 2 or 2.5 time margin facility provided by Zerodha and other brokers using NOW, Presently I have NOW with Zerodha (Yet not shift to NEST) and enjoying 2.5 time limit for option writing intraday, please check following link...

I think you have to make change in your RMS system, so you can easily provide intraday limit for options. Thanks

One more question. If suppose, I have 30 K in my account and 30 K needed for one lot of Nifty Future, and If I will carry forward my One lot Nifty Future than Next day may I take second lot Nifty Future position due to 50 % margin ?

Ok. Will check it again with NOW team.

Your previous day's positions will be uploaded in the NRML product code which is used for overnight positions otherwise in MIS it'll get squared off. Since NRML blocks 100% margin you will not be able to take any additional positions against that margin.

We do not have any minimum requirement for amount in your account for 10 times intraday exposure. The 10 times will not be on all stock but about 370 top traded ones.

Good news!!
NOW team confirmed to us that writing options at 50% margin has been enabled. We tried to place orders in the evening and it was showing all correct values. We still need to test it in the live market though. Hopefully it'll work fine.
