good news!!
Now team confirmed to us that writing options at 50% margin has been enabled. We tried to place orders in the evening and it was showing all correct values. We still need to test it in the live market though. Hopefully it'll work fine.

Just tried to use calculator of smarttradeonline.

BreakEven for futures/options is high compare to RKSV .

Even though RKSV charge 25rs/lot in their Dream plan .break even is stll less than smarttradeonline.

Looks more money is going into other charge.

Can you explain what are these other charges.....whats the use if reduce turnover charges and deducting as other charge from customer...is it robbing like *** apply..

You may be right.....

Rs. 20/order of Zerodha is better than Rs. 15/order of Smarttradeonline

Again Rs. 25/order by RKSV is better than Rs. 15/order of Smarttradeonline

Again Rs. 7/lot of Bezel with 9999/ advanced brokerage is again better than Smarttradeonline's plain Rs. 7/lot with no strings attached

again 1 paisa of Zerodha is better than .7 paisa of Smarttradeonline

again Rs. 390/crore as Transaction charges by Achievers in futures and Rs. 490/crore by Zerodha is also far better than Smarttradeonline's Rs. 240/crore

I think we need to just pick up one broker from somewhere in the world like Achievers and try to tell SMARTTRADEONLINE how expensive they are...in options

Well I think things need to be looked in totality rather than pick and choose anything and tell that Smarttradeonline is expensive...

SMARTTRADEONLINE looking at the totality of their offerings is BEST...It would be good if all others also can be congratulated by you for giving a wonderful Brokerage...

Why you become so crazy when one talks good of other brokers.

I do not trade in futures, I trade in options, so why should I pay 7 per lot or 3.8x monthly charges, and paying 15 per order is out of question. Moverover there is no difference in txn charges.

Even your friend devanjan also had similar views in post #300.

You are absolutely right !!! I am posting below an image of both brokerage calculators.

With VNS, the total charges are Rs. 789.22; with RKSV, the total charges are Rs.749.16.

With VNS, the breakeven is Rs. 1.58, with RKSV the breakeven is Rs. 1.48.

Puzzling.

If i wish to BUY a scrip for delivery into my demat account, i am expected to use CNC code.
But for selling scrips from my DEMAT account, i NEED TO SELL USINF MIS ???
I am getting confused.What will happen if i sell my HOLDINGS using CNC code?

TP bhaaya.....RKSV kaa aapne unlimted trading ka calculator istemaal kiya hain...see for urself....per order traded fee is ZERO for RKSV...u selected wrong plan to comapre with VNS's 15rs/order plan

I was also confused , what I found was with

• RKSV breakeven was 1.59
• STO breakeven was 1.58

I compared Dream Plan with 15/- per Plan
