Trade Smart Online

Hello all,
Below is an email we sent out to all our clients. We are posting it here too in case you've missed it.

Change in bank account for NEFT/RTGS

We are glad to introduce the Electronic Cash Management System (E-CMS) facility for our clients wishing to transfer funds through NEFT/RTGS.

In regular NEFT transfers the banks do not automatically provide detailed reports as to which account the funds are coming from. To expedite the process we asked you to send us a screenshot of the transfer.

Benefit of E-CMS

The benefit of transferring funds through E-CMS is that there wouldn't be a need to provide us the screen-shot or mini statement of the transaction.

How does it work?

Henceforth please use the below account details to make NEFT/RTGS transfers:

Account Name: VNS Finance and Capital Serv Ltd
Bank Name: HDFC Bank Ltd/
Branch: Sandoz Branch, Mumbai
IFSC code: HDFC0000240
*Account number: VNSFIN

*Our account number for E-CMS is a special alphanumeric code and consists of prefix VNSFIN+

For eg.
Client ID: Y1111 - ABC INVESTMENTS PRIVATE LIMITED
Account number will be: VNSFINY1111

For your convenience we've also created a video on How to transfer funds using E-CMS.

The above detail can also be found on the Fund Transfer page on our website.

Points to remember

1) The client code in the account number to be used is the client code as per our backoffice.

2) There should not be any spaces or special characters in account no.

3) In case of an incomplete or incorrect account code the request may be rejected.

4) Kindly note the E-CMS Account number is for RTGS / NEFT from other banks for our existing clients only.

Please let us know in case you have any questions.

Hello neoman,
Yes you can use NOW to trade in GOI bonds and NCDs which are listed on the exchange. However, what needs to be kept in mind is that some (rather many) of the bonds have very little or no volume. But to answer your question, yes it is possible through NOW.

Charges for the same would be the same as equity delivery with the exception of STT. STT is not be charged on bonds.

To apply for new bonds the process is similar to that of an IPO. You'll need to mention your demat account number in the form. Alternatively, you could also buy it from the exchange if a similar bond from the same service provider already exists on the exchange. To compare the yield of the existing bond with the interest rate being offered on the new bond, please refer to http://nseindia.com/live_market/dynaContent/live_watch/equities_stock_watch.htm?cat=SEC

Please refer to the YTM at LTP column to compare the yields.

Currently we are offering only the AMC of Rs300 plan and not a lifetime Maintenance Charges.

Hello all,
Just wanted to let you know that soon NOW is planning to make the upgrade to version 1.12.1 mandatory. So if you are still using an older version, it might be a good idea to start planning an upgrade.

This has not been officially announced yet but communicated to us by a NOW official.
