at 10 the total OI at 5700 is 18lk and at 11.40 the total OI at 5700 is 21lk means call writing at that level mostly by hedging positions

Hi Guys,

Can any one help me about future trading.

i have bought future Nifty on 30.01.2012 at 5164
1 day i got 1100 rs market was 5235
2 day i got 700 rs market was 5269
3 day i got 200 rs market was 5325.

How they are calculating my margin.

Kindly see HINDALCO OI data at EOD as on 03 Feb 2012.

160 CE call OI is up 42%.

Also various strike price PE OI is going down.

Does'nt this data indicates bearishness ?

But Hindalco is up today by 2.5 %

Thanks, seems it will take some time before I get hang of the system.

BTW an AFL will be of help which scans changes in EOD OI (say change of OI by more than 30%) so as to narrow down stocks to watch Intraday ?

TP, on Friday afternoon, around 10L+ OI added in 5200, and we saw what happened.

Today, around the same time, 5200PE has added 13L and 5300Pe has added 14L.

I am not sure somebody would have 'bought' so many puts.... I sincerely feel they were written.
