Trade with options data

sharekhan give this OI data to its members but its EOD (REPLACE LAST DIGITS IN DATE MONTH AND YEAR FORMAT EVERY DAY TO DOWNLOAD) EXAMPLE: TODAY DATE 290212

Have a look at this file...... It's for Nifty Options and quite a valuable one for those who follow OI data on an Intraday basis.....

I had just prepared the basic template.... But the Record Sheet and most of the hard work is done by eXimius..... I was holding back for quite some time, as eXimius was about to share it with all.... but since he has not done it so far..... I am doing the same..... He is also working on it to bring some more features.....

Kiranji.... I am a casual follower of this thread too....

yah similiar link was shared by columbus few days back in the same thread but it is of nifty options but not stock options

We need to create separate files for each Stock Options.... I haven't tried it with this file.... But have a look at AW Sir's Thread on "Low Risk Options Strategy"...... In the last few pages of that thread, I have explained how to use it for Stock Options......

It is similar to that..... just that there are 2 connections in this file..... and we would have to follow the similar procedure for both the connections......

BTW, on that thread the file was earlier shared by me.... and the modified one by eximius lateron.....

But that's an EOD File..... What's the use..... It won't be updated during Intraday... And we can get the EOD data from NSE too..... BTW, I have not downloaded that file yet....

Anyways, can u see ONGC just fr study. There is auction of shares tomorrow. OI suggesting drop to near 284-287. Waiting fr ur views.

all you need to do is change the date example: 150212 replace with todays date 290212 that is what you have to do is int it simple?:clap:

well i would upload the file then we can decide which coulmns and conditions we want in the sheet....we all would make it better and better....all the required know-how right now with Excel programming i do not possess but i have a very good friend who would assist me in learning the stuff required...

I find options data very valuable to confirm chart reading, also in Larry McMillan's book on Options he discusses similar fundas....

I am using NSE data only...although delayed but accurate...
