you think that is put buying at 5200 i dont think so>>>>>>

Kiran

If it is not Put buying why such high OI only at 5200 PE, why not at 5300 or even 5100 ?

If you see CE selling happening at 5600,5700 CE levels too... My analysis says in short term : ready 3-5 days markets are bracing for kissing levels below 5300...

Have been observing 5200 PE OI since series start and there is heavy OI consistently building up here...

Kiranji,
Here u r sharing fantastic knowledge with us. thanks for it.
can u clear my doubt regarding future open interest and its prices?
how are we take decision of stock according to future open interest and spot price? is it any relation between future open interest and options open interest ?

Keep it up ++1 for u:thumb:

hey this is just one example of 5th feb OI data showing the put OI and call OI see the positions in 5000,5100,5200,5300, put opitons and compare the OI with call options

dont want to argue about this further

hi

different people interpret OI in different ways, OI is difficult to interpret when the market is very flat or with in a very narrow range.

one can decide the trend of the underlying security based on the OPTIONS OI data , when a security moves north :-

1.with increase in OI in call options
2.negative change in OI in call options are considered to be positive
3.very high positive OI in puts of specific price can also be considered

when a security moves south wards :
1.increase OI in put options
3.negative OI in put options
4.very high Positive OI in call options of specific price can be considered

we can only decide the whether it is put accumulation or call accumulation based only on the trend of the underlying security. if a security is going down with addition of OI PUT ACC if security is going up with OI addition then its CALL ACCU

we cannot exactly describe whether put accumulation or call accumulation is going on when trend of security is flat,, unless when there is abnormal change in oi

i generally take my decisions only when there is a change of more than 1/3rd of selected contract
may be trader 15 can go through the all the posts once again

very interesting thread thank you kiran for your efforts nobody really want to loose their trading time and posting your trades here

Guys...i am working on an Excel Program which would give us live sound alerts about significant changes in OI data with their interpretation to make Kiran's job mechanical and hence we would be able to track and trade most liquid stocks in Options....

I want a list of 30 stocks for the same...Kiran, let's do it....
if this is going to happen then its like my dream come true. will post important stocks in F&O ASAP later we decide which one first :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
