Hi TradePlus,
I tried to research on the number of received/pending complaints against you. And it's nice to see that it has never crossed 0.50% of your active clients on NSE from 2008 onwards. But, I did notice one thing. Your UCCs have been significantly decreasing. 81% decrease in 2013-14 and a further 7 odd % decline in the number of customers in 2014-15. Can you shed a light on this? Why has this been happening? Are we boarding a sinking ship?
P.S: I'd appreciate if you don't take this in a negative way. It's genuine concern from a prospective client. No intention to harm you.
Dear NJ23,
In 2012-2013, NSE website reflects "Number of UCC" whereas in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 NSE has started displaying "Number of active UCC" So 2012-2013 data in UCC terms is not comparable to 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.

Active UCC means number of UCC traded in that year. While UCC means number of clients registered.

The 7% decrease that you see in active UCC is because data is updated as on 30 November 2014 and we have 4 months of current financial year still to go. We are sure that our active UCC in 2014-2015 would be higher than 2013-2014.

Dear nj123, as per tradeplus' reply, the format was changed hence the difference.. But did you find the same declining trend in all brokers?

Yep, there's a difference in other broker's UCCs by over 50%. They're right.
