As you may have seen in the media for the last 5 days Chennai has experienced calamitous weather conditions due to rain and flood situation. The city has been marooned as waters surrounded us on all sides and entered into most homes. In many places, water reached up to first floor levels with most of the rivers and lakes having overflown.

Most of the essential services – electricity, leased lines, telephone lines, diesel to power gensets, commodities, transport, all banks branches, ATMs and most mobile service providers – were not functioning and chaos reigned everywhere in the city.

Despite the extremely difficult conditions, as has been the case over the last 4 weeks, we are glad to inform you that Tradeplus has ensured that Online trading has not been affected and customer transactions were processed and all critical deliverables were completed on time, including payin / payouts - every day over the last 5 days. We have also delivered all the critical and statutory mails to you including contract notes, margin reports, DP statements etc. We have also processed your payout requests and tried to complete it within the time limits as much as possible.

This has been possible due to dedicated support by tradeplus teams who stayed focused on critical deliverables and because of the resilience of the planned technology infrastructure. We are fully geared up to take care of Monday’s transactions as well.

However, due to voice and data lines being down we are depending solely on wireless backups and there may be some delay in taking Call n Trade orders and client service calls. Our payment gateway is not functional due to lease lines being down and hence we encourage you to transfer money using NEFT to us. Apart from this there are some delays in investor communication as courier services have been closed for the last 4 days. We will clear backlog in areas that are in our control as soon as we can.

I opened ac with you sometime back. Not using it as of now.

First time i opened your mails yesterday. I see that you are debiting
Rs.600 . 3 segments ( options, cash and comm ) for 2 months.

Why like this ? Though its not a big amount, the same thing was not told at the ac opening time.

All unlimited trading plans were auto-renewal and refundable if not used.

you have to inform them, if you donot need that plan,

If a client has positions in his account, because of the rain, he couldn't transfer funds, couldn't get phone support, new clients couldn't be enabled, your payment gateway froze up and that too for days together. Do you have a disaster management site? Looks like you can afford one since you have hidden charges. You say 99 unlimited trading and end up charging some 600

Hi Striker, please see our post of 6th December. Clients were able to trade, transfer funds through NEFT, our phone lines were working on wireless backup. In fact we have both voice and data on complete wireless backup. Payout to clients happened like normal. We worked even on Sunday to clear the backlog. We are committed to ensuring that our clients are not affected even if we face calamities and that is how our infrastructure is setup.
Also we do not charge Rs. 600. Please click on the link that we posted on the reply thread yesterday and the same will explain how it works.
